I was moving into a new home in the area and needed some pizza for the moving guys. I went online to order but the Domino's website would not let me as it said that the Hugo store was "Closed at this time". I called the store to see if they were open as I was sure they would be (it was a normal weekday). This is the conversation I had with the asst. manager (I found out it was him later): Me: "Hi there, just calling to check that you are open". Asst. Manager: "I wouldn't have answered the phone if we weren't! (A "duh" under his breath at end.) Me: "Of course, and that is why I called. However, the Domino's website says you're not and so that is why I was checking. Asst. Manager: Well we are! End of conversation and end of my relationship with that Domino's.
What an extremely rude way to deal with a potential customer. What a lack of intelligence. Phoning to find out if a place is open is very common and it's baffling to think how this guy thought it was unusual and demanded such a level of discourtesy. Strange and unsettling person.
If this is what you get from a very simple phone call then I dread to think what you get in terms of actual pizza and...
Read moreFirst, when you call this location they find it beneath themselves to answer their own phones apparently. You are directed to a Domino's call center that takes forever to pick up. Secondly, when I was finally able to talk to someone at the call center they couldn't give me the information I needed. So they graciously transferred me to the actual store where I could talk to someone to see when my last order was. When I spoke to the person on the phone he lied to me and said that there was no order there previously. I knew that wasn't true but I thought whatever and said goodbye. Then this jerk just slammed the phone down without saying goodbye. Great location! I'm looking to spend more of my money that I earn from a job that I can't stand at this place. It is not worth the effort to try and order a pizza from this location. Especially when there are better Pizza places...
Read moreThis is the worst Domino's of all time. Me and my girlfriend ordered the St. Jude special for us and her two children, which was 2 1-topping pizzas, parmesean bites, cinnamon twists bread, and a 2 liter for 19.99. I ordered a pepperoni and a sausage pizza for our pizzas. We arrived at the store to pick it up, the employees all seemed high out of their minds and the store reeked like weed. They gave us 2 cheese pizzas (that's it) and then walked away from the counter. Wrong. Didn't acknowledge us for about 5 minutes. Then said they'd give us a free 2 liter because of their error. Then we had to wait for the correct order. This is a complete joke, and I hope the district manager or somebody higher up lays the hammer down on this...
