Main Street Bakery — Restaurant in Hugo

Got there at opening, so not all pastries and donuts out yet..but we didn't go for that anyway. The town frequented folks greeted us. We had an omelet team. 3 eeger with bacon and cheese. Very good. Eggs weren't overdone. Comes with hashbrown patty and toast. As we sat eating, I observed all the goodies they were bringing out. Turnovers, donuts, pastries. The sausage palaces were calling to me, but we are low carbers. They looked legit. A whole sausage wrapped in gorgeous egg dough. Hugo hides this place away. Not on the main strip. Go find it and wait till about 7 or so to see and smell "All" the goodies. Young lady at counter was sweet and...

Gave 1 star because zero stars wasn't a choice. I called the bakery to ask a simple yes or no question about purchase orders. I was put on ""hold" which was a guy who answered the phone laying the phone down on the counter while I could hear them having conversations in the background. Finally got to ask my question and was passed off to the owner who told me he was too busy. I understand getting swamped; I do. However, there is a way to be professional. If you want to keep customers, I suggest not hanging up on them. Definitely buying food...

Stopped here on my way through Hugo and was presently surprised when I went inside to find a cozy shop with some very delicious tasty treats.
