Finally, there’s a Starbucks on this side of the island. The service was quite slow, but that’s probably because, like most grand openings in Puerto Rico, the place was packed. There’s plenty of parking, but the drive-thru setup could use improvement since cars line up through regular parking spaces and create congestion.
Inside, the line stretched nearly to the door. I waited about 10 minutes, and it barely moved. The store itself looks nice and still has that fresh paint smell instead of the familiar coffee aroma, which I assume will fade with time. Only 1 cashier inside & 1 on drive thru with 2 others making drinks. It took me 20 minutes to get in & out. The manager was sitting in dining room being oblivious to the line & wait in his brand-new store and there was another female management member present that was more concerned with her cell phone than service. She stood off to the side just watching but not helping. Manager let the cashier ring up register & take cash and then make food without using gloves.
