Caribbean Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Humboldt

This was the second time I have stopped for coffee. The first time my mom and I went in after they moved to the new location and the coffee and food was good, but we waited almost 30 minutes to get it. I chalked it up to a new location and possibly new hires, and they were busy.

I stopped again yesterday on my way through, this time at the drive thru. I ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream iced coffee straight off the menu with no modifications and waited at the window for about 15 minutes before I received it. Ordered a latte and breakfast sandwich. The girl at the register didn't seem to know what to do, which was fine. She was probably learning. I got my latte after about 5 minutes and was waiting on my breakfast sandwich. I waited for another 10 minutes…the three gals Behind me got theirs before me. I mentioned I hadn’t got mine yet. One of the other girls grabbed a tin foil wrapped sandwich off the top of the coffee machine and says here ya go. Needless to say they forgot about me…probably won’t be going back again. Update after 10 months. I’m continuing to visit this location about once a month. I always try to greet whoever is working there with a smile and pleasant attitude. For some reason unbeknownst to me, I just get treated like a number with very little eye Contact. The staff has with making eye Contact with customers. It would be nice to have somebody a little more personable.
