Both Longboards locations have been nothing but a great experience for me. I was recently at the Springdale location for the celebration of life for Bill Topor (aka 'Boston Bill') my lifelong friend of 38 years & my companion in the later years, he is deeply missed! He introduced me to Longboards (The Board). So MANY wonderful memories were made at Longboards! Bus trips to Angels games, Dodger Stadium (Go Red Sox!) Halloween & Christmas parties & of course many, many Game Days at the Board! Food & Service is awesome! I recently had the lobster roll & it is a must (pictured below). Lobsterfest is another must! I will be back soon for that. Heather and Patrick were always a few of our favorite friendly faces. Great owners and just really nice people who come to the Board. The many friendships made and great times will never be forgotten. Service is always friendly & prompt, food is great! You feel like family at Longboards! Year round there are different food specials (Lobsterfest is my fave) but they are ALL wonderful! Prices are also reasonable. Lots of big screens to catch your...
Read moreWe needed a night out, but hadn't planned ahead. We had always seen this location, but never made the time. After all this quarantine time, we have promised each other we would try those things that piqued our interest. We had stopped by earlier to see if we might need reservations, and were told it probably wouldn't be required. We originally arrived later then we had hoped, but even though they were busy, they were willing to accommodate us with practical social distancing. The Host and Waitress did wear masks while many patrons did not. We were given disposable menus, but regular silverware (which pleasantly surprised us). The menu was condensed, but included their specialties. Drinks were fabulous, and we must recommend the four drink sampler of your choice. We ordered the Yellowtail and Prime Rib specials, and both were fantastic (though, personally, I LOVED the Prime Rib)! We really recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere, drinks, food, and service were all above par, and made us realize how much we really...
Read moreIt was okay food. I may have chosen poorly. I would eat there again. The wings were darn good though. I'll give them that for sure. My biggest disappointment was the service. 15 minutes could easily go by without seeing the person waiting on my table. She was nice when you could finally get her attention, but perhaps entirely too busy the amount of tables she was serving because once the food was dropped off, that was it. Personally I think it good practice to return to the table at least once shortly after serving the food just to make sure everything is just right. In my case I ran out of water immediately after I was served having drank it waiting for the meal. So the person I was with offered me hers because she insisted but I kinda think too if I were a waiter I'd naturally take note of something like that if I served tables. But whatever. No worries. Sometimes things don't go a smoothly as we'd like. They were probably short staffed. It was rather busy...
