I am torn.
Part of me wants to say how much I like this place because my kids love running through the play set they have on site, and like most children they love the food at McDonalds.
On the other hand, I have had some VERY bad experiences here. Here is just one example of what I have seen at this location.
As a treat to my wife I got breakfast for everyone one holiday morning at this McDonalds. I had three motives for coming here.
So I arrived early at this particular McDonalds to gather sustenance for the mob at home and was immediately greeted by some of the most unhappy, if not angry faces I have encountered in the service industry. It was very clear I was not welcome and they were NOT happy to see me.
I immediately thought to myself "Well, I wouldn't be happy to be working on a holiday morning either," so I decided to not take their reactions to my presence personally.
After ordering with the surly person at the counter and getting a second, third and fourth dirty look from the prep area, I said loud enough to be heard in the back, "I really appreciate you being here this morning. I feel bad you had to work today." And for the record I tried to sound as sincere as possible because I did not want them to think I was being a sarcastic jerk. I really did feel like I was taking them away from their family and I felt sad for their situation.
My order taker responded almost instantaneously with "You should feel bad!" turned her back on me and walked away.
So here is my dilemma. My kids like the food and the play place, but every time I walk in this location, I remember that experience when I see those same people behind the counter. They may act nice today, but now I know based on past experience they don't really like me and don't want to see me come in their store.
As a customer, it makes it difficult to want to go back.

Read moreDirty menu sign, the lady taking the order asked me redundantly about a combo even tho I said just the burger itself, great script but poorly executed and poor communication skills within trying to order an entree. No napkins and only received 1 packet per item ordered. The burgers have finger smash marks in the buns. I have photos, I'll spare the review on those because it still tasted good, just the handling of the food shows how much the employees actually care about what they do. Went at 1530 Oct 3 Los Angeles Time. I might go back sometime, it's a mcdonalds, they're not known for quality service any more and I get why people say that. Disclaimer I'm sure mcdonalds mgmt will not like this review. But it's an honest one so with all my reviews; If it is paid to be removed I will repost it and to outlets besides...
