Minimex Mexican Food — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Great prices for good food. Had the breakfast burrito. Big burrito just need some seasoning. (salt & pepper) A little bland and the steak had no flavor. Not bad though, definitely will return. The food that people were eating around us all looked delicious with great portion size. Service was great the lady was very kind and smart. We order 3 burritos with 1 to go. She served us the 2 and didnt make the 3rd until we were almost done so it was nice and hot and ready to go when we left. Most spots would have just served us 3 with one in the bag to let it get cold while we ate. Looking forward to my return to try some more stuff on the menu. 3 street tacos and a side of rice and beans for $5 and change.(Awsome) Torta and carna asada fries...

Came in with my wife almost at closing time on Wednesday July 12th, the lady at the cashier took our order and the gentleman that was finishing up with the dishes helped out preparing the order. Ordered and paid for 3 items, to go, no receipt. When we got home, one item was missing =( Came back to the store today, Thursday, July 13th, but couldn't get any help because it's a different staff. I wasn't really sure that grey was a flavor of beefq until now. The amount of gristle to actual chewable meat was way too high and to describe the flavor of the meat itself..... grey. $12.95 for a burrito and they left the seasoning on the shelf? Not even salt? Most of the flavor came from the onion in the onion and cilantro mixture. Which I could tell was not quite made recently.

It's too bad. this place is close to me and I'll never come back. The people there were friendly but the food tastes like...
