Sweetness HB — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Let me start by saying the food was delicious. BUT........ This place IS NOT GOOD FOR GROUPS Yelp! It's tiny! Cute but tiny. Came with kids water polo team today. They got so backed up they made the last of our group stand at register with about 5-6 other families for a good 20-25 minutes. 3-4 families ended up leaving after 15-20 minutes. They seemed so disorganized. Why not take our order so we can sit down? So rude. If we weren't with a group, we would have left. Finally the 2 families in front of me gave up & left. Then the cashier had to fix 2 other groups tickets. Maybe mistakes on both? Then she finally got to me. Took my order, I tried to get drinks (lemonade dispenser seems broken), sat on patio and my family waited and waited. The restaurant was almost empty by then. The waitress brought out one plate at a time for each person before us. It took forever. About 15 minutes later my families food came. We were starving. This was the most frustrating restaurant experience! The cashier had to tell the waitress to do everything plus she was moving at a snail's pace. The poor chef was all by himself and seemed...

Today I went to seafood zone to get a caldo de 7 mares unfortunately I was unsatisfied with my visit never again will I return !!!!!$ The tortillas were hard... The caldo was okay but it didnt have really much in it .. It had some fish, oysters and 3shrimp I got so sick minutes after leaving, alot of throw up they had a dog inside with its bed I wasn't going to leave the review since she was nice to us in the end but I think its very unhealthy for a dog to be right next to the kitchen in a seafood place I have nothing against dogs I love them and I can understand a dog service But to have his bed laying there do you know how nasty and full of hairs this really grossed me out My stomach hurts I'm sorry but I do not reccomend this place if you go I would say go with the tacos No les reccomiendo este lugar y si van no les recomiendo el caldo de 7 mares....los tacos ma preferibles dejan que perros se metan no...

So I've had this place bookmarked for a while because I live right down the street. I came here with a friend during lunch time. There was plenty of seating and we didn't have to wait too long for our food.

I ordered the fish and shrimp tacos Baja style. They were pretty big and packed with toppings. The fish taco was excellent, plenty of fish and the topping complimented it well. The shrimp taco was just okay, mainly because there wasn't too much shrimp in it. Only two decent sized pieces. My friend got some sort of baled fish which was delicious and fresh.

All in all I would definitely eat here again. I may just avoid the shrimp tacos a bit though just because I'm a growing young man who likes lots of shrimps in his tacos. The prices were pretty good, about $3 a Taco (even cheaper during happy hour). Give it a shot, you won't be...
