I places an order online Sunday around 6:15pm confirmation came through saying our order would be done around 6:49 My husband leaves work he stops to pick up our order and he drive home. When he came home I noticed it was the wrong order and it was confirmed when I read over the receipt (it was a DoorDash order) and I knew I had not ordered through DoorDash. I also noticed it was one chicken meal with an apple pie versus two fried chicken meals. I immediately call the restaurant to inform them of their mistake and to let them know my husband was on his way back to the restaurant with the wrong order, she simply said Ok! NOT A SORRY or anything. When my husband get there with the food and the confirmation of our order. The lady that assisted him questioned the location of which we ordered. He showed her the receipt with the address on it. Then she says well we never got it. My husband then calls me and ask for my debit card number because he had left his wallet at home. I ask why would he need that the order has been paid for, she says she can’t make our food because they didn’t get it and we would have to place another order and pay again.. My husband then pull up our bank account to show the lady where the money have been taken out of our account for the order. She then says we’ll I can submit your order number to the company but it will be 3-5 days to refund it. My husband tells her to just make the order and he will wait, she said that she could not because they never received the order. Needless to say we didn’t have Bob Evans for dinner....
Read moreToday, 12/28 2013, my friend and I were in your restaurant for breakfast. Our waiter was a young man named Stephen and David. Stephen was one of the most attentive, friendliest waiters I have come across in a very long time !! We live close and eat there occasionally and the waitresses are always nice, but these young men were on top of things. Stephen, as he passed by with other people's meals, would ask us if we needed anything, would stop by after taking other people's order, asking if everything was ok. But not to the point of bothering us, just to make sure we were taken care of and always with a kind word and a smile. Also, there was another waiter by the name of David, I asked another clerk on the way out, with just as much personality as Stephen. David wasn't our waiter but I watched as he interacted with his customers and he is another fine young man. I watched as he spoke with an older gentleman who was by himself. David was kind, even when the older gentleman would stop him to ask a question and wanted just to talk. Even though David was busy, he would stop several times to make sure the gentleman didn't need anything and once more the older gentleman would engage David in a conversation. I work at the local hospital, see and work with a lot of young people, but the young men you have working there...
Read moreThanksgiving Dinner was very shameful, even after speaking to the manager my family and I did NOT enjoy our dinner nor our long time spent at Bob Evans. Food was literally freezing cold the first time we received our order. My children's orders was not correct either. After advising our waitress, she got very rude saying "WELL YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR IT TO GET REMADE". I then spoke to manager, food was still cold although General Manager was nice she did everything to try to take away the fact the food was very cold and under Temp test I'm certain!!! Only $7 Discount was applied which I still paid. I think the cooks could have made our meal warm at least noting that we had to have our order remade twice. Waitress was rude so I did not get to bless her with a tip and General Manager needs to get kitchen crew on top of their job, have meeting for non rude tolerance, as well as make sure food delivered to customers in more effective, and timely manner. Rate 2 stars although I wish I most definitely could have rated lower. I pray for a better time next time I return to Bob Evans Kentic Drive especially on a Holiday as in today...
