Arby's — Restaurant in Huntsville

I came into Arby's not expecting anything fun or exciting. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted, and nothing else. However this is not what I got...

Instead, I was greeted by a man, who at first I thought was being rude until I realized he was just messing around and it suddenly went from a dreary day with an awkward cashier, to a pleasant story to tell my friends and a hilarious and kind hearted man.

He kidded around about knowing everyone, and did know a couple, and told jokes, but nothing really rude or wasted time. He made sure to involve everyone unless they didn't want to be involved and kept it going to make time fly by while we waited, which wasn't very long.

Overall this was a wonderful trip and I am definitely coming back to see this guy named Steven, and hopefully will bring more friends to meet him. Food wise the BBQ Steak was really good, though messy. I would recommend they work on their packaging to keep things from moving around, which I didn't really move around that much anyways...

The arby's sandwich tasted weird and smelled weird but I still ate it. It tasted fine so. Overall if they keep that guy, and kept the good tasting food, perhaps work on their minor issues, This could turn into the first 5 star fast food places I have rated.

Also highly recommend they work on their dessert...

I told my 79 yo sister who resides in Huntsville about the wonderful Arby's Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich that I got in Anniston, Alabama. I told her how the sandwich looked just like the photo. So she went through drive at her Arby's and ordered the pecan chicken salad sandwich per my recommendation. When she got home, she said the chicken salad was in the center of the bread and there was about an inch of bread around the sandwich which had no chicken salad on it. And she said, it definitely didn't look like the sandwich displayed in drive through. Although she said the chicken salad was good, she said she will not go back as she is tired of getting home to find food is not as represented, or items left off. I have experienced this frequently at fast food places as well and have become unhappy with the lack of care and concern of staff carelessly preparing and packing order. I have to give it my honest three stars. I am normally thinkin Arby's and have always enjoyed giving it a five star. However, this trip was two less than par this round. The first thing that disagreed with my mood was the photo attached with this review. I don't know how else to describe it other than some sort of wire going from the sink plumbing to the paper towel dispenser or vice versa. The other thing was the Arbanator.... Tasted nothing like the Arby's that I have always been thinking, as the commercial I've been bombarded with on YouTube has proclaimed. Some might enjoy the sandwich, so long as you don't bite in and think it's a classic Arby's flavor. It was like taking a big gulp of diet Coke when you thought you has a sweet tea.
