El Olmeca — Restaurant in Huntsville

It seems like every birthday something goes wrong. There was the year I got the wrong cake , the year the store forgot to make my cake, the year my family forgot my birthday, and I've only had one birthday party in my 45 years! So I should have expected today on my birthday that something would go wrong. My dad decided to get me lunch from el omeca on his way from work. I've always liked thier food. But of course today it was horrible! He ordered the pork chops. The description on the menu said grilled to perfection! They were more like microwaved into leather. I had to throw them away. So here has been another birthday where I've cried . I have been wishing for years for alot of things but this year I wished that next year my birthday wouldn't suck! So in the end NEVER get the pork chops...

We love the food and it is great! I am really disappointed that the karaoke DJ decided that there wasn't "enough" people there on Friday so he decided not to do it at all even though we waited forever for him to start.

There were about 15 people ready and roaring to go. We drive 30 minutes just to go to that restaurant for the family to karaoke. I went in and saw the DJ and was told over the phone that there would be karaoke. We spend a good amount of money when we go there and we were ticked when the DJ got to decide last minute that there was not "enough" people to karaoke...really it wasn't "enough" of his regulars. Even the other patrons at the restaurant were angry because they, too, waited forever. Bottom line is that we will no longer be going to this...

Ordered to go from this location expecting great customer service. Wanted to get it delivered, but the cost was more than my meal. So, I opted to order over the phone and pick it up. When I went to pick up my order, I was greeted by a lady with glasses that told me my order was not ready and wait. Ten minutes later, I asked a waitress to check on my order and after that the lady with the glasses came out seeming to be bothered with me asking about my order and said her is your order. So, I responded with thank you and her response was “ Hmmmmm” here is your order. So, poor decision on my part, I can say that this will be the last tome I ordered from here and for what it’s worth, I would...
