Jell's 4 Ever BBQ — Restaurant in Huntsville

The people in the truck were very polite. The sun was high when we came to the truck. There were a couple of people already queued up. My friend was leaned against the truck in an effort to get out of the sun. We waited 10 minutes to order due to a large pre-order. Then white people arrived. Suddenly, the polite folks in the truck unfurled the sun awning. Really. So we been chasing shade, but they show up.... and suddenly it's too much sun on your customers? Rude. We ordered the whole chicken. Pros: It seems fresh; its cooked; it's not burnt; it comes with 2 tiny cups of sauces - red and white. Cons: it is flavorless - there is no seasoning on this chicken, not a pepper flake in the tray; the sauces- one is vinegar based, one is sugar based, neither save this chicken. That's all folks. First time here. Had the chicken and spare rib combo. Chicken was hot and tender but needed a little more flavor. You could only really taste the smoked flavor. Ribs taste smoked not much flavor, heavy lighter fluid taste. Had 4 sides: black eyed peas zero stars, Mac and cheese 5 stars, potato salad 4 stars, baked beans 3.5 stars, cornbread muffin was decent. BBQ sauces all zero stars, HEAVY vinegar taste. My biggest complaint is they are never open. I think they may be open only a few hours on Fri & Sat. Last week they said 11-4, I went at 3p and they were closed (supposedly sold out) I tried to call, no answer and mailbox is full. I guess you have to check facebook to know when they will open. We had the pleasure of working with Jell's 4 Ever Bar-B-Q for our Pitts Family Reunion, and they did not disappoint! The ribs and chicken were absolutely tasty and tender - cooked to perfection. The hot foods were served hot, the cold foods were refreshingly cold, and everything was well-prepared.
