McNasty's Saloon — Restaurant in Huron Charter Township

My experience here was significantly less than what I expected. Yesterday around 6pm my boyfriend and I decided to take a ride to McNastys when we walked in it was pretty busy but not bad. So we took a seat near the pool table in the back corner. The table that we sat at and that surrounded us were all filthy and sticky. After waiting about 10 minutes without being greeted or even acknowledged I got up to find the waitress to let her know we were there. She then came over with menus and took our drink orders. After about 10 more minutes she came back with our beers. We had ordered a appetizer that was solely deep fried foods and two burgers with chilli cheese fries. After not being checked on for about 30 minutes and my boyfriends drink empty the waitress finally decided to see how we were doing. I asked her when she thinks the appetizer would be out (now I know it takes no effort to throw frozen foods in a deep fryer, I've worked in a bar). She said she didn't know then walked off. After waiting another 20 minutes with no appetizer my boyfriend and I decided to step outside. So again I had to find my waitress to let her know we were just stepping outside (not that she cared) and asked her if she had a eta on the appetizer, and again she said she didn't know. So we then come back inside and find our appetizers on our table. While we ate our starter we over heard people complaining how they've been waiting over an hour for a burger, a family even left because after waiting a while they found out their food hadn't even been put on. So our burgers come, the chilli cheese fries were just generic nacho cheese and chilli, not anything to brag about. So we start eating our burgers and they're bland (they asked if we wanted them seasoned) and the bottom bun was so soggy you couldn't even pick it up. So after salvaging what we could consume the waitress came to clear our table. She didn't apologize for the wait or even offer us a drink or discount. I then asked her since we waited so long if we could be given a shot on the house. She said that was no problem. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 lemon drops, again I've bartended so a lemon drop is vodka with a sugar rim and a lemon. She brings the shots over and we took them, I immediately realized that it was salt on the rim of my shot glass. I dont know if that was by accident or by purpose but I am so displeased with my experience here we will never...

Great food, friendly locals, and a fun atmosphere overall. However, my night took an unfortunate turn when bartender Amber, who I hadn't interacted with all night prior, abruptly cut me off and embarrassed me in front of others for politely declining a water during our first interaction. It left a sour note on an otherwise enjoyable evening. As someone new to the area, I had hoped to make this place my go-to spot, but Miss Amber's actions left me with second thoughts, especially when she continued to embarrass me as I was leaving the bar, all while I was simultaneously called to sing my requested karaoke song, 'Rich Men North of Richmond.'

I'm 35 years old and have never been cut off or forced to drink water before my night could continue. Yet quite literally 5 beers in and I'm forced to drink water. My advice to the owner would be to train employees to exercise fair judgment without trying to be a 35-year-old's mom. Parenting is best...

Was here last night with my girlfriend for karaoke night.friday July 5th. Got there a little after 9pm. Order some drinks and I asked what time the grill closes. The bartender said 12 but if they get really busy they'll close the grill sooner because they don't have that many people working. I was like cool ok but can you tell me before you do bc we wanna order food. She was like oh yeah sure we do a last call for the food anyways. Cool right? NOPE.. here it is 1030pm we wanted food and asked. The bartender saids oh we closed the grill already... Mind you the bar isn't even packed.may 10 other ppl there. The place was basically empty. So it's like how can this place even afford to be open?? Off the profit of there drinks? No there amazing tasty food. There food is amazing so I'll just say that but still. There main in come is the grill not there $6 drinks that they sell. Just a sad experience there and...
