La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Huron

We got there at 945 they close at 1030. They said they were closing in 5 mins, we told them there were 6 more coming. When the rest of our party got there 10 mins After we did, we said that’s the rest of our party. The staff turned them down. They brought us the wrong drinks, they hurry us to order. We order cheese dip for our chips didn’t get that till we got our food. The chips were all broken up.. the staff didn’t even check up on else and we had to ask for our check. Worst service ever!! They were also laughing at us and making fun of us in Spanish. They didn’t realize one of us spoke Spanish..would of gave them zero stars but u can’t. The place was dirty. Food was cold and no taste. Was suppose to come with beans and rice got lettuce instead.( which I didn’t order). Ordered a chimi didn’t even look like a chimi.. the other 2 orders were mixed up. Not impressed at all. Will never go...

Probably the blandest mexican food ive had. Was looking to satiate my craving for mexican but it felt more like I was eating at a low grade american resteraunt. My enchalada was just a corn tortilla wraped around unseasoned ground beef, I got carne asada that was just an overcooked piece of ameracan style steak, the beans were flavorless and the guacamole salad was just shredded lettuce with a scoop of unseasoned guac plopped on top. Sadly the most dissapointing part to me was the bland salsa and the margerita that just tasted like a fluity icee. Those things are such major staples in mexican food, I expected hetter for those at least. Worst restaurant experience in years! The Jalisco burrito was not good, the creamy chipotle sauce was disgusting. I was never offered a refill on my drink, and after waiting 20 minutes for a check I walked up to the kitchen area to pay and was told that both my cards were declined. I looked over at another customer who also was sick of waiting for a check who was being told the same thing and suggested that perhaps their card system wasn't working. After waiting like 10 more minutes my card somehow amazingly started working. This restaurant fails to even meet South Dakota standards for Mexican food which has an exceptionally low bar to begin with. After watching the waitress run my card like 20 times I am praying I don't end up with 20 charges for that...
