8-4-2025 6:30pm (edited update) This was the single worst food order of 2025. I even tipped the girl and still received ANCIENT cold French fries, super chewy burgers that had to have been hours old on the double papa burger and both sides of the bun was toasted, leading to a super CHEWY cheese burger with wilted lettuce. Even the cheese curds had the texture of sitting out for hours even though they appeared to fry them to order. If you had to drop cheese curds why not drop some fresh fries?!? This is why people are becoming tip shy and wary... I'll never tip before service again.

Will not be back here.

The food here is pretty decent, the burgers aren't bad at all, but the stars of the show are the cheese curds and the root beer!! They also have corn dog nuggets which are a personal favorite for something to snack on while driving if I don't have time to sit and eat. There's also a Blimpies Subs that share the same area as the A&W which makes this a pretty decent stop if you're traveling with family that can't decide on what everyone...

After I got home I realized I was served a burned double burger without any toppings. Many times they are out of stock on items on their menu (ex spinach tortillas, roast beef ...etc). When you use your credit card and a coupon the "manager" says they can not give the credit card "customer copy" to the customer because they need to staple it to the coupon. I guess all the other business' that accept coupons have "special" powers beyond them. You find some employees not at the front counter but yapping on their cell phones, smoking or talking to each other in the side areas out of view and you have to speak out loud to announce your waiting for service and act like you annoyed them with your ordering when they do. Closing at 7:30 pm for fast food is also unheard of. Also some of the girls working there act like arrogant snobs and that this is a part-time job after their million dollars a shoot modeling...

Pretty much what we would expect for any gas station attached food joint as far as atmosphere goes. The service was quality, but the french fries and fry sauce were not edible. The fry sauce immediately caused a bad reaction after a tiny taste and gluey mouth feel, and the fries are basically oil sticks (who knows what kind of oil it was). I wasn't even comfortable feeding it to my dogs. The burger was pretty decent, however.

The real bummer, though, was the syrup-like viscosity of the root beer which had some black specs of not supposed to be consumed business in it sticking to the side of my cup. All I know is that I will not be returning, ever.

Steer clear if you give a hoot about...
