Blimpie — Restaurant in Hurricane

Went here for lunch. I live in the area, but never come here. Decided to try it out. It was lunch time and due to lack of choices and right of the highway understandably busy. There was 1 female working register, few tasks on a&w side, and all of blimpies side. Now, let me first state I have worked in the restaurant business more than 20 years and am very understanding. I also own 3 businesses currently and am having trouble wiry being short staffed myself. With that being said....I was in line and few ladies in front of me, then 3 guys got in line behind me. The female working decided to make 2 lines, 1 for blimpies and 1 for a&w. All the guys went to a&w line, myself and ladies in front of me stayed in blimpies line. She then proceeded to take the orders for a&w. I understand the logic, takes longer to cook, sure... but, we had already been waiting 5+ minutes and were rightfully agitated with this decision. Just as I was about to leave the line because of this, the 2 ladies in front of me did, so I stayed. Finally, my turn! The female employee was frustrated because of short staffed, volume of business, or who knows what and it showed through her attitude!!! I still placed my order. At this point I become angry and disgusted... she had been wearing the same gloves for the entire 10 minutes I had been there. Register, making subs, back to Register, tasks at a&w, register... you get the idea! Then, my sub!!!! My ready to eat food!!! 🤢🤮 I should have stopped her, but was to scared of her reaction due to her current lack of good customer service already provided! Instead, I stupidly paid for my sandwich and tossed in trash! I don't want a reimbursement or gift card, I would rather not go back. Yes, based on the 1 visit. But, because of all the factors in that 1 visit! But the number 1 worst was the gloves!!! Ewwwww! You can kill someone!!! Get it together before you make someone...

Disgusting experience!!! The girl that was working the counter acted like she was on her death bed when we walked up, sorry to bother you at your sandwhich making job when all I wanted was a sandwhich. After placing our order we stood there as she moaped around and put no effort into any type of body movement what so ever untill the other employees showed up to relieve her...she perked right to life then...amazing huh... Smiling and laughing with her co-workers she stopped making our food and tried to pass it off on some young boy who had to be asked and then reminded by the manager to wash his hands... This is where I damn near walked out...so we are still standing here waiting for our food to be made as this kid washes his hands then walks around looking for gloves. When this young outstanding citizen of the workforce finally finds some gloves...he can't get them on..they are too small.. So what does he do?? He puts his mouth up to the glove to inflate it as he slides it on........ Yup.... Another absolutely disgusting moment... Then the first girl walks back up and puts some gloves on and finally continues with our order. She was able to get as far as wrapping one sandwhich and ringing it up, leaving my second sandwhich on the table with no condiments as she walks away and tries to get a different employee who just came in to finish the order so she could leave... At this point I was not only grossed out but extremely pissed off, all employees walked away from me more than once so I left.. I never got my 2 sandwiches... If you guys don't want my money then you can keep your disgustingly made sandwiches.. I am glad I walked out and made you waste the food... You wasted time driving there, being there, and driving away. Never again will I ever go to any Blimpie location...

Don’t come here the two girls working here on 6-23-25 didn’t care about making our food they didn’t care about the elderly person Infront of me I haven’t come here in 3 years because it was trash food and bad service but my wife convinced me to come again I asked for siscilian and I told them to give me what comes on it as I pointed to the big sign I got olives tomato’s and onions all of that isn’t indicated on the menu and when I asked them about it she got upset and walked away she at this very moment a clearly agitated I just came from the icu to get some food and I am the bad guy here ? I urge anyone that considers coming here to re consider cadence is the one who is being rude she needs to learn how to treat customers you never know what somebody is going thru as I said I came here once and I regret coming twice the management needs to intervene I thing training is necessary all I’m eating is the meat that’s all she blamed the small tiny menu on the fridge she said what do you want me to do about it sir? I even tipped these girls for...
