I visited the location in Hurricane, Utah on Saturday, September 23rd for dinner. We ordered a couple of pizzas and the salad bar. The pizza was delicious and the salad bar was great too. The reason for my poor rating was the service. This was truly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I used to work as a Server and understand all different types of scenarios. One thing I have never been able to understand is people who are rude to kind customers. There were no more mushrooms and sunflower seeds at the salad bar so my mother in law asked for them to be restocked. We waited for what must have been 2 mins or so with all three young gals up front not making any effort to restock it - literally just standing around. I finally said “I’m not sure if you heard me but can you restock the mushrooms?” Without verbally acknowledging my request, one of the gals went to the kitchen and came back a minute or two later with the mushrooms. I went and sat down and ate my salad and then our pizzas came out. Those were great too! We then left and started walking towards our car when we realized my young niece left her phone in the restaurant. So we came back and tracked it and could see it moving around in the restaurant. We asked if a phone had been turned in and the gals said no. So we kept looking because the phone was clearly there. We looked around all outside on the patio where we sat and also by the arcade area. All of the customers saw us looking all over, a few even helped us look. We could see the phone was in the restaurant because my nieces mom had the location of it on her phone. We asked a second time if they were sure a phone hadn’t been turned in, they denied it. We kept looking. There was a very young employee taking her break sitting in a booth. We were looking in her vicinity and without making eye contact with us (she looked scared to be noticed by the other employees that she was talking to us) she said there was a phone in the back. I then asked the gal behind the salad bar for the phone. She said they didn’t have a phone. I said the gal sitting in the booth just said you have a phone back there. The gal then walked over to the gal in the booth and proceeded To aggressively whisper yell at her. Once she was finished, she walked behind the ordering area again. I waited for about a minute and realized no one was going to get the phone. I then said “What is going on here? Do you have a phone back there or not?” The 2 gals behind the desk said no and I said the gal in the booth literally just said you have a phone back there. Mind you, I am mid 30’s along with my 2 sister in laws that are also close to my age and my mother in law that is in her 50’s. We are all adults and these employees are probably 16 or 17 years old. She then proceeded to tell me that I have to submit a claim and describe the phone or something along those lines. I said you never gave us the opportunity to describe the phone because you said you didn’t have one. At this point I started to get very confrontational because they clearly had a phone and 2 of the gals were trying to keep it while the gal in the booth knew they had it and was trying to do the right thing but clearly scared to be bullied by these two gals. Every customer in that restaurant saw us walking around looking for it. I finally said “do I need to call the police because you clearly have our phone and you are trying to steal it.” At this point, one of the gals asked if it had a Lilo and Stitch background (which it did). I said yes and became very, very upset that we had spent the last 20 mins looking for this phone and had asked these employees multiple times if they had it, which they denied, and then they had it the whole time. I was in shock at that disgusting group of young kids that were so willing to steal from customers - the entire restaurant saw this happen. Very disappointing. I feel sorry and embarrassed for the owner of this location that he/ she has employees representing their...
Read moreI'm giving two stars simply because we were still able to eat the food. I've tried a lot of food from different pizza spots before. Never before have I spent nearly $100 at a pizza spot and not enjoyed the food.
3 boxes of pizza and a small box of wings. That was the order that amounted to over $90 and we couldn't even get the right amount of plates for everyone.
Each pizza was cut so, uniquely, that I honestly feel like it's just for show. Each pizza was cut into at least 14+ slices all uneven and the pizzas falling apart when picking them up. The taste was quite honestly not worth the money spent for the order.
You ever take a bite of your food and look around to your friends hoping someone else will say what you're thinking first? That was us. Everyone took a slice or two (hence the pictures of the pizzas not being full) and we all looked up at each other. Everyone agreed, for a pizza spot, it was not that good.
The small box of wings, which were better than the pizza, were $16+ (I'll let you do the rest of the math for the order). They were the tiniest wings (literally) I've ever seen and there were not many of them either. To give perspective, back home we have Publix. A 20 piece box of wings (absolutely delicious) is $18 and they're huge.
I truly hope my pictures do justice to show why this review is being written the way it is.
As visitors, we weren't pleased with Mountain Mike's Pizza. From the restaurant not providing enough plates for everyone, to the food not being good, to the price point not making sense for the quality of the food received . I recommend to anyone, visiting or residing, please try elsewhere to (hopefully) get the "bang...
Read moreFrequent customer here. On Friday, 8/22/25, at 11:20 a.m., I witnessed the incident that reviewer Cruz grimont mentions below. Her "emotional support" animal is not covered by the American's With Disabilities Act (ADA), neither are so called "companion animals." ONLY actually trained and certified SERVICE dogs are covered, and only for owners with specific physical or mental problems. Her dog was NOT identified as an ADA service dog MUST be. Also, I did not hear any problematic language used toward her, only people in the table next to us who politely informed her that dogs were NOT allowed in the dining room. Then, a loud mouthed guy in a lime green worker vest spoke to the other customer in a vulgar way, defending the presence of the dog. Both he and Cruz grimont are DEAD WRONG in supporting having a dog in the dining room. We detected that Cruz and her group spoke with a foreign accent, so it's possible that a European entitlement attitude led her to bringing a dog into a dining room. When in Rome Cruz, when in Rome. Just an hour ago I had a long conversation with the franchise owner of this location, and found him to be a very caring and concerned owner of two businesses in Hurricane. While on the phone he developed a plan to prevent and better manage such incidents in the future, and then he said as soon as we hung up he would make the 30 second walk from his other business office to the restaurant, to implement his plan. I trust that he will. My wife and I will happily continue to be...
