We heard about this food truck from our neighbors just last weekend and have already been here twice (and can see this becoming our breakfast/lunch haunt😆🥹).

The food is excellent and the everything on the menu has very pocket friendly prices.

So far we’ve had the Idli, Medu Wada, Mysore Bonda, Sada Dosa (Plain Dosa), Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, Tea, and Almond milk. IMO, their Idli, Mysore Bonda, Medu Wada, Sada Dosa are must have items! All the dishes come with two chutneys, a geeen coriander-coconut chutney and a peanut chutney, and sambar. The sambar is nice, tastes just like the homemade kind. The peanut chutney is excellent - the best of the three accompaniments. The green chutney while tasty is quite runny and not homogenized (which is not atypical for homemade chutney actually). The Idli is fresh, soft, light, melts in the mouth and is drizzled with ghee. The Mysore Bonda is fluffy, with the thinnest outer layer and delicious insides. The Medu Wada is crisp and crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and perfect with whole pepper corns (kalimiri). The dosa is light and soft/crunchy the way homemade dosas usually are. We did not really like the masala(potato filling) of the masala Dosa, it did not taste flavorful/fresh unlike everything else. The tea and badaam (almond) milk were OK, not something I’d go for again.

The seating space near the food truck is covered and there’s a TV and also a pool table and a chess board that can be used. Although with all the tarp flaps around the seating area, apart from the first 3-4 tables, the other tables are quite dark.

Dogs are welcome on leash!

We met the owner, Mahalakshmi both times that we visited - friendly and nice to chat with! She makes the batter herself, in small batches (for the batter based dishes like Idli, Medu Wada etc.) and started the food truck so as to provide low-sodium, MSG-free meals at a decent price point. This food truck certainly does that well!

Update: After being back countless times (in just a couple of months!) to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner at this food truck - I can confidently say that they deliver great food any time of the day. The Mysore Bonda and the Medu Wada may not be available late evenings given those are popular items and they run out. Cheese Dosa, Idli, Mysore Masala Dosa are our go to favorites. The batter-and-fried mirchi bhajji and stuffed mirchi are also good as snacks, but they are definitely oilier than most things on the menu. Also, the green chutney consistency and the potato masala filing have greatly improved - in fact they‘ve been great on every food-truck visit since our very first one. On my most recent visit I also tried a sample of the Tamrind Rice (Puliyogare) and it was delicious - refreshingly light and with the slightest tang of yummy tamarind.

Another update: the place looks great, much more airy and open, now that the tarps are removed for the summer! They have also started selling...

So we were just driving by and saw the food truck. Not knowing it was Indian food. It's family owned and right off the bat the lady and gentlemen were extremely helpful in explaining or recommending what we should try since we have only had Indian food only a couple times in our lives. It is all vegetarian but that was ok because even though leaving full we left feeling refreshed and we can tell we put good food into our bodies.

Everything is made from scratch and fresh and the food definitely tastes as such. We tried the Karam abd Masala Dosa, Medusa Vada, Idli, Mango Lassi (drink) and their coffee. The vegetable soup that crs with the Dosa is full of flavor and packs a good punch.

If you can handle Spicy this place is amazing and if you can't you just let them know and they are able to adjust the heat for you so you can enjoy their amazing food that's obviously made with love.

Plenty of seating which was awesome and there's also a TV and a pool table for the kids to play. The more exposure they get the more they plan to expand to make it an even more family friendly environment.

The price is on the low end for a good truck in my opinion. I also got full and couldnt finish all my food. We spent $37 after tax and thats because we got two app/side dishes. Would of been only $25 which is super cheap now adays. Highly recommend you give this...

Absolute gem! Stumbled upon this place through random Google search and it's truly a hit - especially for people staying near Hutto and Paloma Lake area, as it was in need of an authentic South Indian cuisine option in the vicinity.

Everything made from scratch including the batter, chutneys, sambar (mouth watering!) which made the food taste fresh and gave it true home food feel!

Visited with couple friends - we loved the Vada Sambar, Punugulu, Upma, Mysore Masala Dosa and Uthapa. Filter coffee is freshly brewed and authentic.

Owners Mahalakshmi and Suresh are very warm and welcoming who ensured we had the best experience enjoying their food and service. Thank you guys!

Can't wait to come back and try other things on the...

We decided to finally try this place after our friend kept saying that in her neighborhood everyone was raving about it! Honestly, they weren’t kidding at all the food is amazing. It’s a small food truck that just opened a few weeks ago, with a good variety of South Indian vegetarian options. We decided to split the breakfast special and it was totally worth it! A lot of food for two people we had leftovers to take back. My personal favorite was the puri and dosa. Sambar and filter coffee were also good. Definitely recommend checking them out! The owner is sweetest! So glad to have something so close by like this now. *They have outdoor seating
