Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

I went here the other night and the food tasted really strange. I got a chicken sandwich w/ fries. When I got home, the sandwich was so small it looked like a slider from Arby's. When I started eating it, it tasted just like a fish sandwich. When I examined the meat, it was indeed chicken but it sure didn't taste like it. The fries tasted really weird as well. Nothing tasted normal. The 7up I also ordered tasted very off. Not sure what the deal was but it doesn't really make me want to come back. The fry sauce was very good though lol.

Update, one year later: Well, I've given them time to do better. I went three times the past two weeks. Sadly, I won't be improving my review.

First, I got the pastrami burger with sweet potato fries. It is probably the best thing you can order from this place. Service went well. My order was correct

Secondly, I had the ranch burger. It tasted as expected. Arctic circle doesn't have a burger (other then the pastrami burger) that doesn't taste the same as every other burger. Maybe some will have bacon or whatever but overall it all tastes the same. Order was correct though.

Lastly, was my worst experience. I order a Jr bacon cheese combo. No ice in the drink. I got a regular Jr cheese burger combo with ice in my drink. Also, to top off these annoyances, they took a coupon I handed them and didn't even apply it.

That's enough Arctic Circle for one year. Maybe things will taste better and coupons will always...

I have been calling the store for over two hours and no one will pick up the phone. I went through to get a milkshake something very simple. They were out of the flavors that I wanted so I ordered a different shake. They gave me the wrong shake, and when I told the girl that it was the wrong shake, she got all upset, remade my shake, and almost threw it at me. She Close the window before I could even ask if the items that I had wanted in the new shake were in it I get home. It does not have the flavoring in it that I asked for so I tried to call the store and as I said for two hours now nothing I don’t know what’s going on or why the store is run by nothing but teenagers. There should be at least one manager on shift somebody to answer a phone call and somebody to help Keep the poor teenagers calm when they make a mistake I wasn’t even angry. I just asked if this was my milkshake and she lost her cool And now I can’t even get it fixed because nobody will answer the phone and I’m not gonna drive across town for a seven dollar milkshake that’s expensive and I didn’t even get to enjoy it because there was nothing that I...

I always start out with a plan to give a 5 star rating. In order to get less you really have to mess up... as you can see, they really messed up here...

We came here for ice cream cones. We were kept waiting at the menu board for about 2 Minutes. There was only one car in front of us. They didn't take our order until that car was pulling away. VERY INEFFICIENT!

We ordered 2 ice cream cones. And then had to wait for them at the window after paying.

Now the food. The ice cream cones were tiny and not very filled. The side of the waffle cone was higher than the ice cream. It was not even half of what is shown on the menu board... we felt ripped off.

That being said, we don't feel like we can recommend this place. If you want a cone made the way it is pictured on the menu take the drive to the Shelley Artic Circle. They make the cones like they're supposed to. None of the Artic Circle's in Idaho Falls give you an honest filled cone in my experience.

Making a bigger profit by cheating your customers is not a good business model and is a sure fire way of going out...
