This place at night is at best post apocalyptic. Every sign out or half lit. No light lit around the building at 820pm. Menu lights burnt out. Construction trailer out front. Went through drive thru only able to see part of the menu. Asked how large the fish “taco” was considering its $5.99. “I don’t know” Can you guess, “yeah, I don’t know”. The owner needs to step up, step in and do something this is unsafe for customers and employees. Also train these poor people.
I get home. And find the fish “taco” is actually a BURRITO ever so slightly smaller than a typical 16oz water bottle. I have now ordered to much food, 4 fish “tacos” and 3 beef crispy 🌮s. The food is okay plus, the fish was not fresh fried, if it had been made to order it would have been amazing. Beef crispy 🌮s are $1.79 just meat cheese lettuce and tomato. They are filled with the amount of meat found in 3 Taco Bell tacos and are great. 2 ⭐️ strictly for food which could still be better but...

Where to begin, I usually like Taco Time but now I will never ever return to this location. At 9:35 pm on August 5, 2016. I ordered their $5.55 deal. I ordered two tacos, mexi fries and cinnamon crusto. I then got my order at 9:51 pm, I pulled away and ate in my car & as soon as I bitten into my first taco the meat was cold. I then went through the drive through again. This time there was another car in front of me and I was at the first window. I then see a tub of meat on this table in a see through container. There was no lid or anything on it, then I see a young man put his hands in the tub and plop down some meat on whatever he was making. Let me also add that this young man was not wearing gloves. This is why the taco meat was cold. Then he remade my tacos, he hand me the bag & said "there you go." I noticed steam coming from the bag, I asked him "did you microwave my taco's"? he said "dude, were closing soon" I told him that I would like my money back, because I don't know if his hands were clean. However, I was not given my money back the kid said "no refunds, but I can call his manager when she is in. I called today and spoke with the manager, and there was no apology or any offer to make it right. So I want to tell everyone about what they can expect from Taco Time. Be careful, you don't want to get sick because these people can't...
Read moreThis Ammon store is a little hidden behind the Arctic Circle, but definitely worth seeking out. It's one of my favorite fast food Mexican restaurants. My favorite meal is the Sweet Pork burrito-- yummy yummy yummy! In fact that's what I ordered tonight.
The Taco Time in Ammon is especially a great restaurant to visit. They have a whole bunch of fancy sauces that you can dip your Mexi-fries or your burritos in. They have picante sauce, 3-alarm hot sauce, the original hot sauce, medium green sauce, ranch dressing, Casa sauce, Thousand Island dressing, and my two personal favorites: chipotle ranch and sweet chili sauce. Both of those sauces are fiestas in your mouth!
This place also has authentic Mexican drinks like Bang! and horchata, and if you don't like those drinks or the soda pop, you can ask the staff to get you one of their limeades. If I'm remembering correctly, they said they had mango strawberry, cherry limeade, jalapeno cherry, and plain limeade.
This restaurant in Ammon is classier than any Taco Bell or even the Taco Time in Rexburg (imho) and is definitely worth a visit. Lastly, the staff is very friendly, which I...
