First time visiting this eatery. Amazing meal!!! Seriously, the hashbrowns were actually crispy and all the way through!!! When I dine out, I often order breakfast if it's available. I don't remember any other restaurant in Idaho falls that actually serves CRISPY hashbrowns. Everyone I know prefers their hashbrowns served crispy, yet most eateries lack the skill or desire to do hashbrowns well; The Grille is not one of those. Every aspect of my meal, the Breakfast Biscuit, was so delicious! It's my opinion that the owners/workers of The Grille not only have amazing culinary knowledge but also care enough about quality to use that knowledge. I watched the food being served while I waited for my to-go order and everything I noticed looked delicious. I'm returning soon and I'll probably have to try one of the sandwiches with fries. They looked so good to pull me away from my usual breakfast preference. I'm not exaggerating when I talk about quality, I'm confident that everything they make is top-notch, given how amazing my meal was; there's no way something that delicious was by accident. I'll be sure to update the review after my second visit. Thank you! to the hard working, caring-about-serving-darn-good-food, local people at The Grille. PS: even the to-go utensils here are above average; Quality does matter, so it's sad that many businesses these days have forgotten that. It's even more sad the public accepts the lowered standards as normal. Again, The Grille is not...

My wife and I visited the Grille because of a coupon, and we were amazed at the prices (irrespective of that coupon price), which are quite reasonable for the amount of food you get. It was also VERY good, and visually appealing as well. Someone there clearly knows what they are doing. The quality of the food beats out all the traditional competition in the small diner market.

Though the dining area is a bit cramped and small, the style of the place is clean and bright. So no major complaints on atmosphere.

The service was excellent. They served Pepsi products (I prefer Coke, myself), but the waiter (who turned out to be the owner) was very accommodating (unlike many restaurants, they actually had OTHER diet options than just diet Pepsi).

Overall, my experience was very satisfying. Good food, at reasonable prices, in a satisfying atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the place to friends and family, or to anyone. It's a particularly good choice it you're on a tighter budget and don't...

Food was good, hash browns were a bit bland, BUT they give you all of the salt and pepper and sauces needed to fix that yourself at the table. The food was outstanding! (Especially if you ask for the corned beef hash to be over cooked and dark brown and crispy all the way through!)

The service though was top notch. Katrina was amazing as my wife and I were able to catch up with my brother and his wife. We were there for almost 2 hours with no interruptions or pressure to leave taking up a table as we spent our precious time catching up after almost a year.

ON TOP OF THAT, Desiree drove my AirPod that fell out of its case to the airport when we realized it was missing!!! I tried to tip Desiree for driving out, but she left before I could!

All in all this place is just made of people that are built different in all of the best ways.

Thank you The Grille, for...

The Grille is one of the smaller breakfast joints in town, but it has that down-home family feel, which you may appreciate. You get good value for your money in terms of the quantity of the food and there are some small little things like the homemade raspberry jam that makes it stand out from the crowd. Their coffee is tolerable, so I would focus on the food rather than relying on a hot cup of joe. They have good omelettes, scrambles, and biscuits and gravy. Most of the portions are so large they would be easy to share or you can take half of it home for a later meal. It's a bit intimate and it might be more difficult to accomodate large parties over six or eight on a busy morning. The waitstaff is usually friendly and cheerful and make eating there more enjoyable as a result.

Walked in to see the waiter eating behind the register, then wipe his hands on his pants when he came to bring me a menu. He took a few more bites behind the register & didn’t bother to wash his hands (that I could see) before he brought my food. He was attentive and the service was quick. Food wasn’t bad - the hash browns were a bit bland. The salt & pepper shakers looked like they hadn’t been washed or wiped in a while and someone was sweeping close to the kitchen while someone else was cooking. I realize people need to clean but stirring up floor dust by the kitchen or where people are eating is not good. Good music, good atmosphere. The place looked clean other than the shakers. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Prices were great.
