I picked this place because I saw lots of 4-5 star reviews. It says on their website they have a 72 hour process for making their dough. I thought wow, if they put that much time into making the dough, they probably are aiming to create the best tasting pizza around. I ordered the large Freight Train pizza. It's the closest they have to a supreme containing meat and veggies. Three Woods offers their pizzas in two different sizes (12" or 16"). I was instantly disappointed when I got home and opened the box, I saw 2-1/2" to 3" of bare crust around the edges. The portion of the pizza which had toppings was less than 12". Also the toppings were very light. I do like how they thinly shaved the onions and green peppers. But there was hardly any pepperoni , ham or sausage on it. This could have been a great pizza if they had not skimped on toppings. The crust was good, it had enough red sauce, but it was extremely lacking in meat and cheese. Their menu sounded so good and I was even contemplating and excited about what pizza toppings I would order NEXT TIME. However, this bad experience has changed my mind. I will not be going back. I honestly felt ripped off when I opened the box and saw what few...
Read moreNever been before was wanting to try something different to the usual cheap pizza places around.
WOW! Amazing to finally have a pizza that burst with flavors you'll never get from the low budget precooked crapy so called pizza loving establishments that are abundantly around the T.V.
Phoned my order in, wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable making my ordering experience drama free! Twenty minutes later picked up my order, it was ready in time as promised.
Had to sneak a peek inside the box as my curiosity was being fueled by an aroma I haven't smelt for years. First impression, looked great i wanted to try. Thought better of that quick thought and waited til got home to share with family. Worth the wait!! It was so good I was like " this is what pizza is suppose to taste like". Sauce taste like freshly made! Crust is thin and cooked to perfection. Cheese wasn't oily, and the herbs were a delightful surprise. Every bite better than the last.
Only sad part of the experience was when the pizza and cheesy garlic bread was gone. Enjoyed by the whole family ! Will undoubtedly be driving the 20 miles again to pick up again.
Highly recommended , our new fav...
Read moreMy husband and I took our boys here for the first time last night. We started off with side salads that were yummy and fresh. The pizza was AMAZING! Best we’ve had in a long time. We got the Big Dill and the Chicken Bacon Ranch with spinach and artichokes added. Both were delicious! Since it was Friday night, of course it was busy but we waited maybe 15 minutes before being seated. Very kid friendly, potentially a little loud for those who may be sensitive to volume but the service was exceptional. Our waitress was great and attentive; towards the end of our meal she walked around with a bucket of suckers for all the kids, making sure to ask the parents if it was ok before handing any out. The hostess (Jacey) was great too. At one point she was folding boxes at a table nearby and when I say my 3 year old became infatuated, he literally did not care to talk to anyone else but her. Jacey was incredibly friendly and chatted with him the whole time. He keeps asking today if we can go to the pizza place again, haha! I don’t know what took our family so long to try this place but we have definitely been missing out on a gem. We will be...
