Country Pride — Restaurant in Idaho

I ate here about a week ago and it was very good service and the food was great ( ham and cheese omlette with pancakes). I decided to bring my husband and mother inlaw back to eat here today. I told my family i think i found a great breakfast place we can start going too since it was good and close to our home. Well, today was the WORST reataurant experience ive ever had. Holly our waitress really needs to find another line of work. She is the most disorganized waitress we've ever seen. It wasnt crowded when we were sat and it took us over an hour to receive all of our food. We seemed to get just pieces of our food once in a while. By the time i received my omlette, the rest of the family was already finished with their food and waiting patiently for me to eat. Unfortunatley i enjoy tabasco and ketchup on my now cold omlette and hasbrowns. I asked holly for some and she said shed run and get some. I gave her about 5minutes and then i decided to get up to see where she was. Found her taking someone elses order. I just went and grabbed the tabasco and ketchup myself. This happened constantly during our visit. If it wasnt for the other waitress Bree we would most likley still be waiting. If i hadnt been at this restaurant previously, ide NEVER come back. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. I will qualify this by saying they did seem understaffed even though they were not that busy. With that said, I always tip. I ordered water and unsweet tea, never got the water. Fine, she seems busy, so I let it slide. The food took awhile but not way to long. The waitress basicly throws the plates on the table and says "here you go hon." Then turns around and takes off. I ordered steak, and needed A1 steak sauce. I ate everything else on the plate, drank my tea and waited. She never came back, to check to see if I needed anything. Which would of been nice because she never asked me if needed anything when she delivered the food. Not to mention I ordered it medium well, when I flipped the steak over it was burned. So after at least 30 minutes she comes up and asks if I need anything. Turns out the did have A1. She gets it, and then hands me the check. I took one bite if the ice cold nasty dry steak. Put my money on the tray including a 10% tip..... because I'm an idiot, and wait again.... about 10 to 15 minutes later she walks up and takes the try not saying a single word. I always love going here. My mom and I take this over IHOP or Dennys. Irene is an amazing waitress and works her butt off, she even steps into the grill/kitchen if needed. The food is amazing, and if anything is not right, she will take care of it and then some. The cooks make the food taste like heaven. The food is always enough for multiple meals and the choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are fabulous! There were several times I wasn't feeling great (I have Pancreatitis) and Irene helped me find the best fit for my needs. The prices are amazing as you can't even get that much food (and good food) at McDonalds for that price. They make sure to welcome all and take care of the truckers who help take care of us. If you have any dietary needs or restrictions Country Pride has something for everyone. They also serve families and little future truckers with family friendly meals as well on the menu. A good old diner feel, may take longer than fast food places but you will not be sorry! If you get Irene for your waitress you have been blessed for sure!
