Let me paint the vibe for you. It reminds me of being on the islands in Hawaii. The music choice makes the environment calm and nice. When I lived in Hawaii I would go by the water and get sushi and the owner there would play reggae and the ocean breeze would hit you in the face after getting a nice tan from the sun as you get crystallized by the the salt crystals from the ocean waves. Eating here brought back memories. 1st trip This place is awesome. I got the bulgogi bento and a side of kimchi. My mother used to make this for me all the time. I would have ate more but the large beer got me too full. Everything was great. Service to food all 10/10. Cute girl works here too. It’s a Family business and a young man owns the place and family and friends help make this place what it is. I will support this place any day. New spot unlocked when I’m in Boise. See you next time. 2nd trip I got the set lunch menu and a apocalypse ipa which I never tried before. The beer is actually really good. So I got 4 pieces of tuna and 2 pieces of eel and a Diablo roll. For the Apps I got the cucumber salad and miso soup. All good. Then there’s the poke. This was actually really good and the sesame oil mixed in with Masago, avacado and tuna was really tasty. Btw I believe the chef uses the really good part of the tuna for the poke. It’s the dark tuna and full of flavor. I always think I’m going to order more but I’m always full after. They give a lot of food for the amount you pay. I even ordered a small beer and I’m more full than the last time I came here. Will try something else next time. I changed up the orders but One thing that hasn’t changed is the girl is still cute. See you later on my third trip.

Several years ago I had given a 5 star post but now at a revisit I won’t go again. When I looked up this place on 6/10/23 it clearly stated it had an unlimited sushi option which it does not anymore as I went yesterday. The amount of fish in the roll was really small and was overwhelmed with imitation crab in everything I ordered which did not state it even contained crab. I found them to be deceiving as in the pictures I have posted I ordered a Philadelphia, a Rainbow and a Arizona and none of the rolls I received were even close to what they listed on their menu. This isn’t my first time eating those rolls and they are pretty much a standard wherever you go. I should have asked why I got what I got but didn’t as I had bright someone and it would have got uncomfortable. The fish that was on the rolls was poor in quality in my eyes. It took way too long to order in a restaurant with only two other people at one table. I was made to feel since they didn’t have all you can eat that their new options would somehow make up for it which they didn’t as it was really just filler appetizers that weren’t even good. The rice wasn’t been good and I thought it tasted old. I personally wouldn’t waste my money here as it’s not cheap and I think the owner should evaluate why they changed this place completely around. Irritated is what I was as I had been here at least 10 times. Unagi was terrible. You hope the owner revisits the low star reviews as they are all very much the same and has lost many customers.

Loved this place! There's a lot of sushi out there and I live in the Seattle area so there are a lot of options here. Who knew there would be a place better than the majority of the places we have here in Boise? I was driving back from UT and I was talking on the phone with one of my eating buddies as I drove through ID. I mentioned that I was jonesing for some sushi after a week in UT and WY. He is a guy who travels a lot for business and he immediately told me to try this place. I went in with marginal expectations. I have a place I love at home and no one anywhere has ever come close to it. This place nailed it. The prices were reasonable for sushi and the food was fresh and delicious. I loved the garlic shrimp roll and kind of want one right now. I tried a bunch of different items and they were all awesome. I particularly enjoyed the cheesy corn, which seemed very out of place at a sushi bar but was so good that I didn't spend much time thinking about whether or not it belonged on the menu. I think it's a safe bet that I'll eat here every time I roll through Boise. Note to my cousins who live there and love sushi; this is our go-to place now!

Bottom Line Up Front: Great Sushi, Great Service, at a Great Price. I’m a huge fan of sushi, and have eaten at almost every sushi place in Boise since I moved here two years ago, but this place keeps me coming back! The sushi speaks for itself, as the fish is as fresh as you can get in Boise. The manager and chefs are constantly challenging themselves to push the boundaries of flavor to bring the very best to your plate! So make sure you give the special a try when you get there! But the food isn’t the only thing that’s special about this place. The service second to none, and I’m not just talking about speed! I was stunned as the servers and managers actually remembered me and followed up on conversations we had had my previous time there a few weeks ago! But if you are more of an introvert don’t let that dissuade you as it seems they are very keen at reading a table. If great service and great food doesn’t tickle your fancy, rest assured the price will! The “Set Menu” is essentially all you can eat prices, but without the pressure of trying to gorge yourself “trying to get your money’s worth”. At the end of the day, I believe this is the top spot in Boise for all of your sushi needs. Whether you’re dining in or taking out you can expect quality sushi at a fantastic price! So go say hello to the...
