Fu Lin House — Restaurant in Imperial Township

Being a huge fan of Chinese food I am very picky about a lot of things when it comes to the offerings. I have lived near Fu Lin for a long time but never ventured to try it because I always stuck with what I knew to be good. Out of a last minute desire and my normal establishment not being near, I opted for Fu Lin. First of all, the owners are the nicest people you could ever meet. Very friendly and eager to make sure they do right for you and your order. I have now been here a few times and it's almost like we are friends...lol. The food is good and made the way you want, if you have special requests. We personally prefer the dumplings deep fried since we like them to not have that steamed elasticity. The wonton is very good, as is the special fried rice and garlic chicken. A lot of Chinese places give you fatty chicken and it's disgusting, not this place. I think for the price, the meals are reasonable. I am a huge proponent of supporting local business verses the usual "Bear Express" type restaurants. This place is now one I will keep in regular rotation....

Tonight was our first time. We’re transplants from Washington State in 2011 and haven’t been able to find a good Chinese place.

I ordered the szechuan chicken (only baby corn, broccoli and carrots) extra spicy, fried rice with crab Rangoon. My husband ordered the general tso extra spicy, fried rice, egg roll.

First let me say the Rangoon is top notch just wish they were filled more but that’s common it seems everywhere. But the flavor was good. By far the best Rangoon I’ve found.

Our only issue was neither of our meals were extra spicy, more mild with a hint of sweetness. Was it good? Yes, the lady was super friendly, they have cute lil items for sale. Some handmade by her and a friend. Will...

It was alright. Was hoping it would be better as I just moved to area and it was close by ,all the reviews about how nice the family was had me hopeful. But wasn’t really that good . Lady delivered to subdivision behind their location for me which was cool ,and it arrived in like 16 minutes from the time I placed the order which is oddly fast . Tasted like it was Just thrown together if I’m honest. Wasn’t bad Just wasn’t too great either.
