âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Case N Bucks is nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment you step inside, youâre greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The food here is beyond incredible, and the menu has something for everyone, but there are a few standouts that truly shine.
Letâs start with the chicken wingsâoh my goodness, these are on another level! Theyâre perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and seasoned to absolute perfection. Whether you go for the classic flavors or their more adventurous options, youâll find yourself savoring every single bite. Trust me, youâll be dreaming about these wings long after you leave.
Next up is the chicken fried steak, and let me tell you, itâs an experience in itself. The steak is cooked to perfectionâcrispy, golden, and tender enough to cut with a fork. Itâs smothered in the most delicious, rich gravy that ties the whole dish together beautifully. This is comfort food at its absolute finest, the kind of meal that leaves you satisfied but already planning your next visit just to have it again.
And then there are the fried picklesâan appetizer thatâs both simple and extraordinary. The tangy pickles are battered and fried to a perfect crunch, creating a snack thatâs impossible to put down. Theyâre the ultimate combination of salty, tangy, and crispy, making them a must-order every time.
Of course, great food is only part of what makes Case N Bucks so special. The heart and soul of this place is Jeff, the owner, who is truly one of the most amazing people youâll ever meet. Jeff goes above and beyond to ensure every customer feels like family. Whether heâs stopping by your table to chat or personally ensuring your meal is perfect, his passion for hospitality shines through. Itâs clear that he takes immense pride in every detail of the restaurant, from the food to the service to the overall experience.

Read moreFirst off, Let me make this clear. LEARN HOW TO MAKE, SOME CHEESE GARLIC BREAD! Honestly. I asked for Garlic Bread and I get it a good hour later and not just that, but it comes out with literally half cheese with it, the other half completely blank. Whoever the kitchen staff is needs to know that people look to eat the ENTIRE plate when they order food. Also, Tell me one restaurant besides Case N Bucks that gets an order for a Medium cooked burger (Keep that in mind) and brings out the food cooked WELL DONE! No restaurant should cook a burger to the point its not even juicy and burn the edges of the buns. For gods sake, The cheese wasn't even melted on the burger. It looks like they took the cheese with a dried out burger patty and slapped it on the patty and said "Bam, Serve it." That's not how you cook food. Honestly. I'm a teenager and I don't write reviews at all, I don't look at reviews. But once I noticed that Case N Bucks didn't have the same employee's, I googled the reviews and if you look at literally every review posted in the last two weeks from this current date, Possibly further, you will notice that they all have the same complaint. Case N Bucks use to be an amazing place to go after school, Late at night, and everything else. The new owners of this former heart of Barnhart have ruined the area's pride. You use to be able to say that you could go there and enjoy a nice meal, Their service was terrible. It took us 2 complete hours to get finished with our meal, Which may not sound bad, until you don't get your drinks until your 30 minutes in and your appetizers an hour after you sat down, Only to have 30 additional minutes piled onto your day if you wanted your complete meal. The restuarant smelled terrible and as it literally says on top of the building, A smoke free facility, they have one side that allows it and one side that doesn't. It's not an improvement since that's how it goes. I feel as if the owners need to change the name of the facility. If one peice of a good quality place falls then let it all fall. There's no point in keeping the good name of Case N Bucks if your going to treat it so terribly. They are running the buisness into the ground and they've dug themselves in too deep to the point they can't...
Read moreWhen we arrived, the hostess kindly asked if we minded a wait due to short staffing, and we agreed. The staff was clearly busy, with four women working hard to keep things moving. The hostess took our drink orders and brought them quickly.
Our server had another family to attend to before taking our order. After we ordered, our appetizer arrived promptly. However, as we continued waiting for our main dishes, an older man and a boy were seated at the table next to us and ordered after we had.
Around 15 minutes later, their food arrived â and we were still waiting. When our server returned, she unexpectedly asked if we were ready to pay. Confused, we told her we hadnât even received our food yet. She mumbled something about getting mixed up and walked away.
We continued waiting, and it became clear that the staff was looking at us and the table next to us with concern. After some deliberation with the other staff members, our server returned and asked what we had ordered. Sheâd already entered it in her device, so it wasnât clear why she couldnât look it up.
Our server then mentioned an issue in the kitchen, made a vague excuse, and placed the blame on the kitchen staff. She loudly stated, "I knew it!" before disappearing again. About 30 minutes later, we finally received our foodâwithout an apology. Moments later, she returned to ask how our food tasted, even though we hadnât had a chance to take a bite yet.
Unfortunately, my sandwich was bland, and my chips were burnt. By this time, I just wanted to eat and complaining to the kitchen would have resulted in an even longer wait.
I believe one of two things happened:
The table next to us received our order, which could explain the staffâs concerned looks.
Our server forgot to submit our order, even though we saw her enter it.
Either way, I was disappointed that she seemed to cover up or blame others instead of taking responsibility. A simple apology and honesty would have made the experience far more forgivable. Our tab was over $50 for two people. We felt undervalued by the lack of respect. The absence of an apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience left us feeling we would not patron this...
