Pretty expensive for what you get, seems everything you select is an up charge, I hate the Toast app for ordering, it is a horrible beast, does not give you a clear description of what you are getting exactly, buyer beware. Also, our order was wrong, I usually check my pick up orders so shame on me, I selected lo mein instead of fried rice which was an up charge of $1.50 and received the fried rice, no lo mein. My spouse is allergic to seafood and I added that fact to the order and of course the vegetables had shrimp in it. I would expect this from a much less expensive establishment but this place is not cheap. I called them back to let them know, they offered to remake some of the order but we live 40 minutes (both ways) from the place so that was not an option for us. I asked if I could at least receive the up charge refunded on the lo mein mistake, the young lady handling the phones who was very very nice, but she stated she would have someone call me back. I remember Trey Yuen, this is no Trey Yuen...

Small sitting area inside and outside. We went when sun was setting and was unfortunately sitting where my husband was sweating it was so warm trying to eat, they did have fan blowing. Food what we ordered was good, but not $65 worth in my opinion for 2 people. Felt like I was eating take out food sitting inside since their food is served in take out boxes, plastic, very small utensils and go cup. We went inside to order was not take out. For $65 meal for 2 I want a real plate, real utensils and a real glass. The won ton and war wonton soup was really good just came in go cup and a very small plastic spoon to eat it with. Perfection. If you were a fan of Trey Yuen when it was in Hammond, then you already know! The dishes I had are exactly the same, just as I'd hoped they'd be! After all, this is a quick service concept by one of the original Wong brothers!

I do chuckle when I read comments such as "when Americans try to do Chinese food...." & "The egg rolls are better at ..(and then proceed to list a restaurant(s) owned by the offspring of this Original, Local Chef - fairly certain they use the same recipes & techniques 🫢). Please, educate yourself on local restaurant history and ownership so you don't sound sooo...
