There is a racist Indian lady who has a problem with you if you speak Spanish. She is very rude towards hispanic people, but when a white person comes in she greets and attends them very well. Normally people make up bad reviews , but I am honestly tired of her rudeness and discrimination. This is my story, but I have a friend who had a similar interaction. First time I realized she has an issue with hispanics was a few months ago. I walked in with my coworker and we were talking in Spanish. She asked why am I talking Spanish if we speak English perfectly well. I don't see why that is an issue. It wasn't like I was ordering the food in Spanish. I didn't think it was appropriate to ask me that. It felt like it was an issue. I let it slide since I always come here. She always had like a little attitude and I was aware of it , but I always try to be the bigger person. However, today was the last straw for me. I was ordering an order for a friend and I and I can see that she became very impatient and basically gave me an attitude and made hand gestures to me to hurry up. I reacted without thinking and asked her why are you always giving me attitude when I come in here. It's not like the store is filled with customers. She decided to not attend me and had someone else take care of me which I was fine with. Next thing you know she's going off in her language. Then there's a white person that comes in and she starts attending them differently. While I am stating there I realized that her behavior changed. She smiled, greeted and even asked how their day was. At that moment it became clear that she has favoritism based on your race. She never attended me with such warmness. I refuse to be ever attended by her again. I am not coming back...
Read moreEpic shoutout to Darcie, the owner of this franchise. I stopped in the store tonight to purchase a bottled water (long story), and watched as she and her team handled a long line of multi-item orders with exceptional grace and attention to detail. She was training two employees, dealing with some unexpected changes from corporate, customers with highly specific requests, no carbonation for her soda fountain, and you’d never know she was dealing with multiple stressors. She was courteous with every customer and so sweet and patient with her employees-in-training. They’re lucky to have a boss like her! I’ll go out of my way to visit this particular franchise from here on out; the owner, crew, facilities, and service deserve support from the community! Keep up the great work.
(I ended up getting a sandwich, too, and it...
Read moreThe staff was friendly and food was good. My complaint is against the owner of this location. They don't accept the national Subway coupons and won't let their staff put up any sign/notice on the door to let customers know that. Instead, the employees are forced to let you order and then when you get down to the checkout and try to use a coupon, they have to say no. And you can either walk out and go hungry, or pay the ridiculously high prices that are twice what you expected to pay with a coupon. Pretty lame tactics.
Oh, and their seating area has been under construction for like 3 years now. Something's up with the...
