I was super disappointed in our visit tonight. When we walked in, we were greeted by friendly hosts and was directed to our table. The table we were directed to had crumbs all over the table, but we let it go since we use to get great service and food here! Love the dividers to separate the bootgs from the regular tables. We ordered our drinks, which were way overpriced (a shot shouldnt be almost 6.50, which was really close in price to the beer that we ordered). The shot came in a visibly dirty glass, as did my water. We tried to look pass it, but had a hard time. We noticed the menu had changed from the last time we had been there, which is understandable..menus change. Unfortunately the food available was not what was wanted, but we were going to settle and order anyway. We decided on appetizers, but they were out of a couple appetizers we had wanted. By that point, our mood was ruined and we decided to go to MELT instead.
Few friendly tips: when having customers come in, please let them know if you are out of any menu items, especially appetizers. Double check tables to make sure they are clean. Double check glasses to make sure they are clean before serving to customers, especially during pandemics. Waterspots are understandable, but lip marks and food are not. Im saying this to be friendly, as someone who has worked in food service before.
Our waitress was ok. She was super friendly with all other tables, but ours, not so much. Then, when we asked for our check after being told of items not being available during ordering, she did obtain the check, but was super standoffish to us, even after tipping very well for a few drinks that werent even finished.
No, we did not ask to speak to a manager, nor were we offered to speak with them, but the experience should have still went better than this. This restaurant use to be a favorite of ours, but i dont see us returning after this...
Read moreI had seen an ad for the new Donatos pizza at Red Robin, so I figured I would try this place. I placed on online order #780294593 and ordered two small pizzas and a salad. The online ordering service emailed me that the order would be ready for pickup at 5:23 pm. The first disappointment: I arrived at 5:30 pm and walked into the lobby where they had the pickup service. The employee asked who the order was for and then turned around and walked out of the building without letting me know what was going on...Eventually another employee came up and asked if I had been helped. She checked and said that it would be about 5 minutes and that I need to pull my car up to the building and call the pickup phone number. I called after 5 minutes and they said it would be another couple minutes. At this point it was 5:35. Time went by and no update or anything. The time hit 5:50 and at this point I figured they had forgot my order. I asked one of the pickup employees walking outside if they could give me an update. She sounded hectic and rushed and told me that "we are severely understaffed right now, but I will go check and see for you". Finally at 5:53, 30 minutes after the pickup time that the service told me, the food was ready and brought out. The second disappointment: the house salad, which was one size for 5 dollars, looked much larger on the online menu. I was hugely disappointed in how small the salad actually was. Compared to other restaurants, this salad was roughly half the size of what you could get for 5 dollars. I do not recommend for anyone to waste money on this salad. I truly hope that this pickup experience was a one-off and not everyone that is picking up has to wait 30 minutes after the service tells them that the food would be ready. Based on these things, I would not be willing to order from or go to this restaurant and I would not recommend it to the people...
Read morei try to avoid writing bad reviews about places because i typically find them laughable but jesus christ did i have the worst experience here on 1/20/23. my fiancé and i were sat immediately, right around 6 (maybe 10 minutes tops after the top of the hour) and our server took our drink order. she came back and gave us our drinks and took our food order (bacon cheeseburger, no tomato, garlic fries, and a side salad. royal burger, no tomato, sweet potato fries). she read everything back to us, no problem, and left. salad was brought out and i asked for silverware which took about 10 minutes to receive. after she dropped it off, she didnt come back the rest of our stay. a food runner came and dropped off our food, but mine was completely wrong and something i absolutely would not eat. my fiancé finished his entire meal before i flagged a busboy down to ask to speak with a manager (who never came to see what the problem was). after waiting 5-10 minutes on a manager, our server suddenly reappeared saying that there was "technical issues" which is fine, but like. communicate that??? still check on your tables???? we seen her multiple times talking to and laughing with another table within the time she was gone and i had the wrong food sitting in front of me completely untouched. she took the burger off of our tab but its still disappointing being in the restaurant for a full hour without being checked on and not eating at the end of it, as my fiancé and i were now running late for a movie. we left the building after 7:00. ive never had any major complaints with red robin until now, which is so disappointing because this was the first time in almost a year we came to eat and i have been looking forward to...
