My wife and I were nine hours into our drive from PHL-MKE and caffeine was needed. We found this coffee shop as part of the outlet mall off I-69. It is a charming place and one thing was immediately prevalent, the giraffes. It was a beautifully designed cafe adorned with giraffe art and stuffed giraffes.
I asked the barista the story behind the shop and she informed me that the owner’s sister passed away in a car accident 20 years ago. They wanted to do something in her memory and she loved coffee and giraffes, thus the Amanda Lee Coffee was born.
