Unfortunately, I had a bad experience here yesterday. I came in for an early dinner and the sriracha jalepeno burger. It was cooked properly and very delicious but my server, I believe her name was Ashley, seemed to be having a bad day. She took my order but didn't seem very friendly and no smile. Although she did check on my once during my meal, there was still no smile or friendly personality.
The management was also just standing around then went to the kitchen. They didn't make any rounds to customers to ask how their meal was, they just seemed to ignore everyone. At times, there were people standing by the registers waiting to pay or waiting to be seated. They would be standing up there for 15mins while management was nowhere to be found.
I was interested in having dessert but my server didn't ask "if there is anything else" or even try to upsell a desert option. Instead, she just dropped my bill off and walked away. I’ve had any Denny’s in America, the waitress, brought all of her problems and stresses to the job and treated a paying customer like an animal she wasn’t receptive to me trying to make her job easier, she didn’t apply the customer is always right philosophy and at the end of the day when my food came to the table, I lost my appetite and just had to leave. Second time same thing. 3rd time a lady named Kate answered but abruptly hung up. Called the 4th time no answer. The fifth time Kate answered again and stated they were indeed open and would be until 10. We were 7 minutes away and headed on over. We got there and Iwe were virtually ignored.
