We have been here before several years ago. (Pre 2020) service was a little slower than we remember. Drink order was taken when sat down. Both had time to go to the restroom, then another 5 minutes to get our food order taken. Ordered an omelet with no sides. (Toast hashbrowns or pancakes) Did order a side of grilled onions. Normally, I expect I will be charged. Sometimes not. Especially if I don't order sides. Now we are only talking 50 cents. But that couldn't have been a teaspoon worth of grilled onions. Wife ordered the all-American breakfast with country potatoes with grilled onions included. That was at least double or triple the amount of onions. Both times, our coffee was refilled by another waitress. Didn't notice the sign at the checkout counter when we walked in. No thermos refill. I wouldn't consider my yeti coffee cup a thermos, but so be it. Said she could give me a to go cup, but she would have to charge me. Now, if she would have said. I will have to charge you to fill my coffee cup. That would have been better. That happens sometimes, and I'm ok with that. Since the coffee was not all that good. I walked next door to the Road Ranger for coffee. We both brought our cups in for refills. She was nice and only charged for one refill. The food was good, but the service was...

3 of us eating, we were very pleased with the food, service and price. We liked everything we got, very tasty, hot and attentive service. Nice varied menu. Highly recommend!
2nd Visit - A little disappointed because substitutions are extra $$. We couldn't sub cottage cheese for hash browns - would have cost us for the full side cost. English Muffin instead of toast was extra. We had also asked about Chili instead of soup the last time we were here and that was extra too. Otherwise, the food was still very good. We just had a lot of waste with our breakfast since we are trying to stay low carb.
8/25/22 Trying to substitute Sausage on a breakfast skillet and was told they have a new computer system and there is no button for substitution. They can take the sausage off but can't add the bacon with out charging for it ... So that will be another $3.99 on our bill .. and $5.99 extra because they can't add chocolate chips on the pancakes .. so charged us for an additional 1/2 order of pancakes (the breakfast was supposed to include pancakes). A Breakfast Skillet cost us $17.99!
We love the food here, but next time we'll go...
Read moreSo the place is nice, clean, with friendly waitresses. After that, based on all the positive reviews, I must be here on the day the cook is off his game. I ordered the alpine burger deluxe with a cup of the roasted pepper soup and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were mediocre. They were hot, but really stiff inside, almost like they were old. The soup was delicious. Best part of the meal. The fries were perfect. The burger, however, was the worst burger I have ever been served anywhere. McDonald's burgers are better, and they're not good. It was cooked dry as a bone. No juice to it at all. The cheese was not melted, the bacon was bordering on burnt and the bun was mostly stale. The peppers mushrooms and onions were the only good part of the burger. I had to put ketchup on it just to make it edible, it was so dry. One thing that was not cool, is that I had a cold tea. I asked for a refill, and the waitress brought me a glass of water. Really?
In spite of the food, the service was pretty good. I'll probably give them another try next time I come thru, and if it's more of the same, I'll let you know, and probably not...
