Pike's Pub — Restaurant in Indiana

Christmas- I came here with a friend at the last minute to grab a drink. My friend struggles on the holidays because he's lost a young child. As soon as we walked in the door, a patron made a comment about his pants sagging and told him to pull them up. We went to the bar and after waiting about 15 min I very kindly tried signaling to the bartender my drink order. It was busy and alot of people so I was very nice about it. He very rudely told me "wait a minute. You can wait your turn." He never checked back in or offered to make my drinks when I KNOW I should've been waited on. So I continued to wait and a woman ended up making my drinks. My friend had taken a seat at a table while I waited. While I was waiting I felt a very hard slap on my backside. I turned around and to my surprise a woman along with everyone behind her was staring at me. She said she was the one that slapped me on the behind. My friend walked up when he saw the shock on my face. He asked her not to touch me. She was very apologetic. Her boyfriend tried to apologize and when it wasn't received well, he tried to get my friend to come outside and fight. Every one tried to continue to approach us as if WE were the problem. We hadnt been there 20min. This was very bizarre experience. I've never experienced this in my life! The owner did come out and apologize for the whole thing and how we were treated which was appreciated. Unfortunately, I won't be back. Strong...

Absolutely fantastic service. Waitresses were very attentive and very quick with greeting, order entry, drinks, refills, and checking back with any needs. We got the wings tonight and they did not disappoint!

Update 1-12-2024 Came back for our 2nd visit here. Our waitress recalled from memory what we had had from 2 weeks ago without a hitch. Ordered the Garbage pizza (small) and the wings (5 hot teriyaki, 5 Pub), and wow! This place has now consistently impressed with their service as well as their food. Their team members don't care if you are their direct table or someone elses. You are a customer and you need to be acknowledged and taken care of. They make it a priority as well as a point to make sure we were taken care of. Our main waitress Sam as well as Mel, made sure we didn't run out of our drinks and if we needed anything else with our meal. Excellent atmosphere, excellent service, and...

I only come to Pikes when I’m in the mood for chicken wings. This is my second favorite wings spot behind the 469 bar in New Haven. The smoked wings here are very tasty and the larger wing variety and they will sauce them up the way you like them. As far as a bar goes, sure it’s a bar. The reason why I don’t max out the stars is because they smoke inside. I’m a non smoker so I don’t enjoy the cigarette smoke throughout the bar. But besides that, generally speaking the people who do go here have been friendly and I’ve never heard of any fights or problems here before.
