Riviera Maya — Restaurant in Indiana

We walked through the doors around 8pm on a Saturday, it was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table for 4. We were greeted and brought to our table. Shortly after our warm chips and salsa were brought to our table. Chips and salsa were good but I asked for a hotter version and some extra cilantro. PERFECT.

Carlos met us at our table and took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to overlook the HUGE menu! Drinks were brought out in less than 5 min. We ordered our food and it was out in less than 15 min.

Food was excellent, service was over the top! Carlos made sure we had everything we needed he interacted with the kids and talked to us for short time.

After a backbreaking 10-hour work day in 0° degree weather, I wanted some good takeout, and my god, did this hit the spot. I ordered a steak quesadilla for takeout and had a corona while waiting. The beer put me in a euphoric state, and I was just happy to sit there in relax for a minute in a festive/warm environment. I ate the rest of my meal at my hotel and it was perfect. 22$ for a steak quesadilla w/peppers and onions, rice, guac, and a side of refried beans was a little expensive, but what isn't expensive these days. This place reminds me of most local family owned Mexican restaurants in small towns that I’ve been to: bright colors, mariachi music, similar menu, except this is the best one I’ve been to. Great service, very fresh and tasty food, very clean, reasonably priced. Nothing fancy but a great experience . I wish this was in our small and not something we stumbled upon driving across country.
