Enjoyed a Sam Adams along with a Build Your Own Burger (BYOB) and steak fries. Must say…exceptional burger, perfectly cooked, and the brioche bun had great flavor. Especially liked I could get fries without the salt or seasoning. Christine who was tending the bar did a great job taking care of me and made sure I had everything I needed. The ONLY (minor) complaint…a beer and burger for $20 is a bit pricey.

Since the Buffet closed this’s was our next choice. Portions are very large. Food was tasty and hot. You definitely get your money’s worth and will not leave hungry. Shame the Smoke & Rye is closing in December. Sigh.....As always Reese was a great server transitioning from the buffet. She is a hidden gem!!

We had the best service by a woman named Reese. She went above and beyond. Never had such a huge Mushroom Appetizer! I had to take a pic.We split the Black & Blue burger and it was pretty good. Will go back and in Hope's of getting Ms Reese again.

Not impressed for a place that overcharges on practically every item on the menu. We went there with a small group and unfortunately for the waitress she was double sat 2 small groups. For that I was somewhat understanding on the time constraints except for the fact that we had arrived first and yet the other family was sat before us. We were there almost an hour and a half total in which most of the time it was waiting for drinks, food, and the receipt. At one point one of our group just went to the bar to get her own drink since the waitress was taking so long. The food was substandard for the price. My wife ordered the brisket, unfortunately it came out looking like a "briskant". It looked dry, sad, and appeared to have a shade of green. It resembled beef jerky more than brisket. The both of us being from Texas we were highly disappointed. Needless to say our group of ten all agreed the food sucked and that we would eat elsewhere before coming...

Ok so normally I would go five stars hands down. However our visit yesterday around 3:00 pm was definitely not how it has ever been. Que "Andrea".. we got the feeling as if we were a burden to the place. Our food was taking a bit, and that was totally fine. After roughly 30 minutes she came out and let us know it's be out in just a sec, but she'd be smoking a cigarette. The chef brought it to us, and he's amazing btw. Even after he did so, she never came around to check at all. Every time we needed the check, or the to go boxes, change, it was a 10 minute ordeal. It's never like that at night and I guess I know why, but we really felt like we were a burden, and we frequent Horseshoe quite a bit. It won't be the end all be all, but we're definitely dodging...

Fantastic made from scratch food! I got the pulled pork with baked beans and slaw. The flavors were perfect together. The beans were melt in your mouth soft with smokey bbq ends and hints of molasses. My house salad had house-made smoked tomatos and pickled onions on top. The cilantro lime vinaigrette was a balsamic flavor blast with subtle sweet and sour. Very complementary to the super-fresh greens. The house-made cheddar biscuits were so fluffy and light -- you MUST try! Had the buffet Sunday night with fried chicken, ham, beef stew, chicken pot pie and bourbon bread pudding. ALL delicious. Well staffed and...
