Homestyle is the worst place to eat or work. The manager Beth is a very unhappy person in, which means they have a high turnover around. Very disrespectful to everyone, employees and temps.

Having worked there, they start preparing the food on Wednesdays for Saturday and Sunday. Often times, the food is left out, uncovered. Of course a thousand flies in the summer! I won’t mention the gnats! Only the fish and chicken are prepared the day before.

Homestyle has a consistent line (usually the same people each week) The people that work the line, work the hardest The cashiers get all the tips (that people think they’re giving the line servers, and do not give or split not one dollar. Who actually tips a cashier? Well, everyone that tips them. Do the line servers a favor and tip THEM and not the cashiers who make over $600 a weekend in tips from others hard work.
