You can taste the chefs love for the art of creating delectably rich creamy meals..."Amoré!" for sure!!  The menu drew me in and the hour we drove was well worth it. I appreciated the ambience once inside the restaurant and it was nice not to have to pay for or find parking like we do in downtown Indy. We tried the Tuscan Mushrooms Bruschetta, (outstanding!)  Braised Beef Canneloni (unique, creamy and so unexpected!) and the Carbonara with chicken (also a textured masterpiece)! Each of these dishes had a creamy texture that thouroughly coats the noodles and it was just what I was in the mood for! We even tried dessert, which we normally do not do, and the Turtle Cannoli was devine. Ryan, our charming and attentive server, presented  with a very relaxed and inviting personality and informed us everything is made from scratch, simmering these sauces all day... which definitely comes through as we journeyed from the appetizer, to the salad with house made Italian dressing, to the entrées, and dessert! You will find yourself savoring each bite, as you are immersed into another world.  They also have a gluten free spaghetti noodle option, for those that need or prefer it.  I will definitely return to try the chefs' other creations.  And thanks to Ryan for making my birthday special down to creating a non alcoholic drink for me, upon my request, that was as tasteful as it was beautiful! *Menu / pricing always subject to change at owners discretion

Last night, we had dinner, and sadly, it was the second time in a row that the meal did not meet our expectations. Let me start off that our server, Cam, was phenomenal. He was very friendly and attentive. Cam even suggested we start off our meal with the Hot Pizza Dip. That Hot Pizza Dip was gooey, cheesy, and creamy, and the pepperoni added the right punch of spice. Then, it was followed by a hot tortilla soup. It was chock full of chicken, tomatoes, corn, and other flavors that reminded us of chicken tortillas. Cam then brought two loaves of hot bread with small plates of Parmesan crisps that we could add either extra Virgin Olive oil or Balsamic vinegar or both. Then our main courses were served, and this is where the eating experience took a major turn for the worse. Then our meals were brought to our table, and unfortunately they were warm, not hot. My Veal Picatta meal tasted delicious, and the flavors were on point, but it would have tasted even better had it bern hot. The cheese ravioli dish with the pesto cream sauce was a major disappointment. Although the ravioli were delicious and perfectly cooked, the pesto cream sauce made the dish inedible. The basil flavor in the pesto cream sauce was so potent that it ruined the dish. I'm having a difficult time understanding how such a delicate herb could overpower and ruin a dish. Then, the lasagna dish was no better because the ricotta filling was dry and flavorless.

So I'm not big on Italian restaurants however my run partner was really feeling Italian and because it was Devour weekend many of the restaurants were packed. Luckily Amoré had an opening that worked for us. When you step in to this restaurant on a nondescript strip mall you are immediately transported to a little town in Italy. Due to covid seating is well spread apart. We started our evening with cocktails her a sparkling apple cider like cocktail. I ordered a salted caramel martini. They were both amazing and well priced. For appetizer we had the calamari which was very tasty but I wish they gave just a little bit more. For dinner my friend ordered braised beef which she thought was so good cheesy and very filling and I got a dish that included peppers, mushrooms and succulent shrimp on angel hair pasta. We ended the night on housemade tarimasu.... delicious. Amoré was such a treat. Between the amazing service and delicious food it made for a wonderful evening!

Place used to have a sense of decency. My wife and I have spent a few $1,000 here over the years of ordering for the family.

I placed an order(4/29/22) which should have contained gulf shrimp.

Upon opening the container I was greeted with large shrimp at best. When I called to share this complaint, the bartender was absolutely rude and hung up the phone.

Candidly, I was firm about the deceitful practice of upcharging customers for more expensive items and swapping them for lesser priced items. Her response - are you done?

I will not patronize this establishment any longer if this customer service is permissible.

The owner's response is a glaring view into why the staff(can only speak for the bartender who took the call) acts in the crass manner it does.

Hiding behind the upset hostess doesn't not nullify the fact that they use inferior ingredients and upcharge for premium products instead; in addition to the rude staff they apparently stand behind.

Furthermore, not one disparaging word was spoken to the hostess. In fact, I explained that I understand she did not prepare this dish, however not at minimum remaking the dish was unacceptable. Her response was I can take your number and alert the owner when he gets in.

I won't speak ill beyond my transparent experience.

This truly wasn't what I was accustomed to, however it spoke volumes for their nonchalant regard for those spending their money there. I was left with the impression that once they have your dollar, it doesn't matter.

Thank you for your response Kevin. I do however find it improper to resort to assumptions and accusations in a public forum so I'll punctuate this review.

My only ask is that you reconsider your approach to how your restaurant serves it patrons.

Best...

I must say it takes a lot for me to rate an establishment this low. Service was almost non existent .It would make sense to know your menu for the evening, especially since the question was about the two soups for the menu that night. She was nice enough to bring a sample which helped. The soup was pleasant.

From there it was downhill. We tried the zucchini boats as an appetizer. Watery and with very little flavor from what should have been a great combination of cheese, sausage and other ingredients. Perhaps sear the zucchini first a suggestion.

I ordered the veal parmigiana and my date the veal saltimbocca .She got one bite in and knew immediately it was just wrong. What was billed as prosciutto looked more like a thick cut pancetta and not in a fresh or healthy state. The layer of grease on her dish also disturbing.

While waiting for her return to the table after immediately exiting, I tried my dish. The cutlet was below average at best but to follow another review here from @Eli Klein, it was the red sauce that was just extremely uninspired and too sweet. Perhaps fresh, but took over what is a meal that relies on both its cutlet, preparation, cheese and sauce. Prego immediately came to mind, if your sauce of choice, you will find it pleasing. For anyone looking for a traditional red sauce, I would suggest something else on the menu.

Amore was kind enough to make things right with regards to my dates meal. My half consumed counterpart just par for course in my journey to explore Italian restaurants in Indy. I was a bit surprised by the response by owner as do believe one should be able to express a view. Never questioned how long a recipe was in place, I just viewed my opinion of...

I quite literally do not write google reviews but the service and food here was that outrageously fantastic that I had to login and write this.

First, our server, Tiffany, was just the most hospitable and kindest person that I have ever had the blessing of meeting. She was so knowledgeable and energetic. She radiated only good energy and vibes it is the type of energy that cannot be faked. She is genuinely such a gem as both a human being and a server.

Second, the food. Oh my goodness. I did not even KNOW that Italian food could taste that good. There's a lot of Italian places out there that I genuinely think are scammy with the price especially with how lacking the flavor is and serving size. This is not one of those places. They give you bread and either salad or soup with an order of the noodles. I got the Roasted Pork Ragu and I think it has become my new obsession. The pork was so soft and tender. The sauce was so packed with flavor and the noodles were cooked to perfection. There was also so much that I had to take the rest home. I also ordered the Tiramisu and it was honestly 10/10. It was easily enough for 2-3 people and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. My friend and I also ordered some cocktails and they genuinely did not taste like alcohol (they didn't skimp either) which is a huge win.

Third, the vibes are immaculate. It's such a cute/romantic spot for any intimate occasion whether you're going out with a bunch of friends or going on a date.

This place is such a hidden jewel and it deserves more hype. Definitely going to come...
