So I decided to try a new pizza place to eat as my dad was here from out of town and my daughter was with me as well. I regret to say that this is honestly the worst food I've ever eaten in my life. I kid you not my breadsticks came out uncooked and completely rock hard. They tasted like they had been thrown in a trash can for a week and pulled back out and served to me like that. Absolutely horrible. The pizza came out with extremely thin crust to where you have to fold up the whole pizza like a chalupa or else you can't eat it at all because it's just too thin and floppy. I complained about the breadsticks and they acted like they didn't know it was wrong with them and then they came back and told me that they didn't cook them and they served them to me Uncooked. The waitress was nice enough to take the breadsticks off of our bill since they were so terrible and brought us out new ones. The new ones were cooked but tasted horrible. The pizza tasted awful as well. There is literally not one redeeming quality about this place. I really wanted to love it and I hate to complain because I love to support local businesses and I will leave great reviews for many places I've been. Unfortunately this place needs a total redo. Judging by all of the other complaints about uncooked food, it seems like they clearly have staff that do not care whatsoever. Or perhaps it's management letting things slip through the crack. Our neighborhood favorite, but it's time to stop being greedy and share this with the world! Byrnes has been in the Broadripple neighborhood for years - they're a small hole in the wall pizza place, but they have big FLAVOR! They source local ingredients when possible and have a variety of options for every one salads / pasta / sammies / pizza, yes! Gluten free / Vegetarian, yes yes! A cute little bar sourcing local spirits & craft, yes yes yes! They also gave an amazing patio and sit in a prime spot around the corner from the canal.

The owners are so sweet and the employees are super passionate about working there - every time is the most pleasant experience!

Their pizza crust is nice & crisp and we love all their sauce choices. They also recently introduced glute free crust and cauliflower crust which is just wonderful! This is the bulldog pizza minus Prosciutto add balsamic with is just the best - piled high with carmelized onions you think you'll eat half but wind up eating the whole dang thing! We also get the guilty shepherd on the regular which is loaded with ricotta and veggies including... avocado - which you never knew you needed.

Their salads are all wonderful - always fresh with tons of flavor and their dressings are on point.

If we can ever eat inside again I reccomend checking out their rhino bar - it's quaint and cozy and their cocktail concoctions are just scrumptious.
