Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Indianapolis

We used to go to Long John's all the time.. Haven't been in a while so we stopped by for a family meal and added a few pieces to it. And the difference in the size between the chicken and fish was crazy. Should say chicken tender... The order was running up wrong and the receipt was inaccurate.. so of course Our order was not right and the manager seemed very aggravated about it and we had to go in twice to correct it and the chicken wasn't even one third of the size of the fish. They were supposed to give us one piece of fish and six or seven pieces of chicken... I was trying to ask before even ordering if it would be easier for them to make combo all chicken and add a fish. And said we were trying to get two sides with it.. This is my son's first time trying fish so we ordered one. So when I ended up with two piece of chicken and five fish, I was a little confused and not what we ordered and not what was on the receipt.. I thought maybe they had got our order mixed up with someone else's order. So I had went in and told them I believe I got someone elses order. they took only the meat back and said they would make me some fresh but I asked him if they would ask the fries and make them a little fresh again which I worked in many fast food restaurants and I know they do this.. but they acted like they did not ever do this which I understand on this occasion they couldn't because I had it in my hand. So when I asked if they could please make some More fries my bag was kind of snatched out of my hands and they toss the whole thing in the trash and then we only ended up getting about half of the fries that we had before and no coleslaw at all... A cashier inside the restaurant seeing someone new but was very friendly it was actually it seemed to be the cook and the manager that was aggravated. And I do understand it can be incredibly frustrating and hard to multitask in a very fast pace business. At this time there was only two people in line other than myself and maybe three tables of people that were already eating... I should have just warmed fries up at home. It sucks a lot because my son just found a new love for fish. lol But I definitely won't be paying almost $2 for one...

Our adventure actually started at the Steak & Shake across the street @ W Washington St and Holt Road. After taking several moments to decide what everyone wanted we were informed the drive-thru is closed so we ventured across the street to Long John Silver's. There was no line at the speaker but when we placed our order for a 12-piece family meal we were only offered four sides so we had to change up our plan and ended up getting french fries, rice and corn. I have rice and corn at home. We got a little concerned with the wait time and even joked a little when the car ahead of us just decided to drive away. When we arrived at the window we explained that the customer ahead of us had left and she proceeded to fill our order. The woman working the drive-thru was very sweet and helpful with a good disposition. After a very long wait and they had already collected our money we finally received our food. As it had taken so long to finally get some food I asked for a hushpuppy to munch on for the drive home. My partner pulled out to Hush Puppies one for me and one for him and we proceeded to eat them. Funny thing, mine was lukewarm and doughy but his was super double crunchy. Half of the hush puppies have been cooked and dropped again to be rewarmed but that's okay because I actually don't mind the crunchy. But when we got home and went ahead to make a replace I've never seen fish cooked like this before I'm not sure if it sat in Grease, but the bottom was soaked in grease in the top was cold and crunchy. It had been a while since we ate at Long John Silver's and we will make sure that it will be a long time again. We were excited for the hush puppies but the rest was just disappointing across the board. Hopefully they get new management and better staff that will follow the standards. As I sit here with my belly rolling I regret the visit knowing it's going to be...

I was there during all star weekend and it was very cold outside. I went inside to see how much a piece of chicken was and it was like 3 dollars a lil out of my price range that day but a very nice lady behind offered to buy me the chicken and ended up buying me a whole combo. She was so nice and I couldn't believe that she did that for me. I got the chicken w the fries 🍟 and a drink. My meal came out hot and tasted so good. I was so thankful that the lady bought me that meal because I was so hungry. She put a smile on my face and it let me know that their are still great ppl out here. You don't hear about em because all the negativity overshadows the good things ppl do. I guess ppl Wana hear the bad stuff rather than the good stuff because the bad stuff is what is exciting. But today I'm posting something positive to put some positive energy out there. When I was waiting for the bus outside, after I left Long John Silver, I passed on the positive energy by giving this guy some hand warmers who didn't have any gloves on. So u do the same and do something positive for someone even if it's just a smile or saying hello. Positive energy attracts positive energy so when I do positive stuff, positive stuff will find it's way back to you. Maybe not in the way that you just did but when u really need some help someone will b there. The positive energy will manifest itself to you in a way that will help you the most when the...
