Pa & Ma's Backyard BBQ — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Well ig I came at the wrong time , Thursday around 1:30pm .. I was expecting some BBQ well when I went in I’m lost as hell looking for a menu the lady asked me how can she help I said this is my first time do you have a menu so she said not it’s visual im like oh ok .. I goes and look and I don’t know what im looking at there is no tags that said what the item is .. so I said I’ll just take grilled chicken because she told the man to go get more grilled chicken I told the lady I’ll just take the grilled chicken she said oh that’s not a guarantee that we have it! im like ok so I look back down at the food it’s only chicken wings and fish which both looked dried out and over cooked I said I understand I’ll just take the wings and Mac and cheese and yams I open the container and tried it The yams were hot and good Macaroni was different ig could have been better The chicken tasted like fish cornmeal or they used the same grease for the fish , it just reminded me of churches.. no napkins or offer me to buy a drink or nothing .. overall I’ll...

Ive been following them for a while and was excited to try this place….G H E T T O and the customer service is really lacking. I asked for drinks and the cashier was like “u can walk to family dollar and get them cheaper” first i wud never tell a paying customer to go spend their money at another place lol she was a little rude smdh.

Some guy was rapping and singing loud walking all thru the place cussing and fussing and jus general carrying on and he wasn't young either so he def know better. He was one of the workers. The food was bland, so i had to season everything and it still was jus ok. I was expecting gravy on my meatloaf…nope dry…Mac was runny! Cabbage was tasteless. Fried corn and chicken was good. Fish was ok but only give u one piece. Had 4 meals spent $51.

Disappointed because it looks so good on facebook and when they talk online they seem professional. Probably wont...

First time eating at Pa & Ma's Backyard BBQ while visiting Indy on Sunday, afternoon.

Taste of food was non pleasing for Soul Food (2 meals ordered)

Baked BBQ Chicken Bst, Macaroni and cheese, Green beans Hot water Cornbread.

Meal Chicken was great, lack more thicker bbq sauce. Green beans overcooked and lacking seasoning non present. Macaroni & cheese taste like box macaroni and cheese plus it was burnt on top. Hot water corn bread was a winner (entire meal 3 ⭐) due to half of meal was decent.

BBQ Ribs Dressing with gravy Cabbage, hot watér cornbread Ribs dry & burnt lacking taste need so much improvement here. Cabbage taste like air no seasoning at all very tasteless, Dressing had gizzards, mixed chicken gravy wás absolutely the worst dressing ever. (Entire meal 1 ⭐)

Please get new recipes all foods lacking taste...dried, overcooked or...
