I ordered 2 large pizzas for carryout and was told they would be ready in 25 minutes. I got there 20 minutes later and assumed my pizzas weren't ready yet and there were no finished boxes above the oven. A customer was at the counter having just finished their order. The owner said their pizzas would be ready in 10 minutes. About 15 minutes later they left wish their pizza. I heard the owner reference my two larges and out sounded like one was one and still waiting on the other. In that time another customer came on, placed and order for one large pizza and left. Now I'm getting mad. I ask about my pizza and she says they are in the oven. This is now 40 minutes after I placed my order. 5 minutes later the owner realizes they only made one of my pizzas. She scrambles to make the other one. Assuming my first pizza is already put in a box I ask if it could be reheated since it will be cold by the time my second pizza is done. She says it's still on the oven. This is now 50 minutes after I ordered them and 30 minutes after I arrived. Since each pizza only takes 10-15 minutes to cook neither of my pizzas were in the oven when I arrived. During this time the owner constantly berated the other two people helping her. No wonder neither of them entered to work with her. She also complained about being in extreme pain and barely able to stand. It's obvious she's not in any condition to be standing and making pizzas. She's also unable to keep track of which pizzas have been made and what order they were made. At this one she realizes my second pizza was already made and she had an extra one. Both pizzas I got were hot so I think I still got the "extra" one. She finally apologized but not directly to me and offered a 2 liter soda. I didn't want soda, I wanted my pizzas when I expected them. If they would have offered one of them free I would have left appreciated. I just left angry and will never return as long as...
Read moreSaturday 7-13-24 I oder $28.06 of food. Three Stromboli sandwiches. 1 mushroom with onion, pickles. Two pizzas sauce one sandwich with onions and pickles. The other one just pickles no onions. I watched them prepare my food. First, the young lady holds the tray with the bread on it without a care in the world. The bread that the meat goes on is about to fall off the tray. Secondly, she was putting my fixings on my sandwiches. Stop fixing my food to go and do whatever in the back kitchen. Before I left, I asked if the mushroom sandwich in the brown bag, and they said yes. Get home wrong sandwich was in the brown bag. My two sandwiches had no pickles or onions. Can I say bland nasty food. People take over these businesses. first need to put some love and pride in preparing your food. Second, I am not just going to throw my money away. I called the restaurant to speak with Victor, the owner. At the beginning of the conversation, she clearly did not believe me. We continued the conversation, and he started to change his tone. As to say, I guess this lady is telling the truth. Well, Victor, off to drive to my home to replace my food. I told him that was nice, but no, thank you. I will no longer be a patron/customer of the pasquale's pizza eatery on West 16th Street. The previous owners are no longer around. The food, the service is, and will never be the same. Think, check your food before you leave and spend your money. Jack's Pizza is the #1 pizza on the...
Read moreI ordered a BLT to go at 1:45p; it took forever but around 2:10p, with the shop being empty... I got nothing but a grimace from both ladies, even after buying a $1 coke and leaving a tip.
THESE HUMANS ARE RUDE OR DON'T WANT YOU THERE
The BLT consisted of mincinced, overcooked bacon on a french bread roll covered with lettuce and nice ripe red tomatoes. But even the requested table salt (which should have been fresh ground sea salt) couldn't help the flavor. She wasn't wearing gloves when she put the BLT together, and there was even a sign posted about not needing gloves for uncooked meat... or whatever, Gross. .... and I noticed a half-empty "family pizza sauce" can upside down in the bin (so much for homemade). The mid-30's heavy-set woman making the sandwich without gloves was OK ... I guess... but I threw half of the sandwich away after tasting it .The bathroom was fairly clean. I don't know why they are still in business. What's wrong with these people? Is that...
