Family of six therefore we do not care what expense there is when it comes to our food. We're willing and know the cost we spend on our meals. However this place is a waste of money. First off there is no type of customer service experience what so ever. No greets no your welcomes no "do you want another $6 tea?" They sit you down and you are on your own from there. There is no type of customer service of any sort. I had to hunt down a "waiter" to ask for another tea which they ran out of boba bubbles for. How do you run out of anything on a weekend?! The meals are basic; basic pho soup with cute little cut vegetables. The rice; was basic too with veggies and chopped meat of your choosing. The choice of tea are only two choices! Which we had both of; the taste was good but more ice was given than anything. No kid meals so if you have any kids do not even bother. However that wasn't a deal breaker so it didn't bother us much we ordered regular adult meals for the kids which the portion seemed off compared to the people around us. If I'm still paying adult prices why give me a smaller portion? However although everything else was basic; the need of fountain drinks is not an option here so expect to choose a tea or a smoothie which we had all flavors of. Again family of 6. While we were eating we were given the check as if we were being pushed out. Now although we are a big group; my children are disciplined as this is not their first time in a restaurant however how did the "waiter" know we didn't want to order more which in reality we wanted to order more tea but could not because our bill was already charged. All in all a basic pho place when it comes to food. Customer service experience horrible. Do not bother spending money here find somewhere else to go as they're many other pho places that give you more options in food and drinks and way better...
Read moreWhat can I say, best Vietnamese restaurant in indy hands down. Appetizers are phenomenal, and have trying almost everything.
Spring rolls and cha goi rolls are almost must, try lovely peanut sauce and sweet chili fish sauce.
Definitely try the Vietnamese coffee hot or cold, especially a caffeine fanatic like myself. My daughter loves the bobba milk tea and the smoothies. Strawbery us her favorite.
Bo la lot, beef skewers with lot leaf are my go to along with rare beef salad. If you want a refreshing salad the lotus salad is also phenomenal. Warning though salad is big, recomened sharing.
The crepe pancake is good, also, if you want to get your hands on making your own, they have build your own varieties of spring rolls as well. We have tried all the appetizers and always change it up.
Of course the real gem is the pho. Thier Pho is excellent balance of silky smooth mouth feel broth, nice and savory, not many offer the whole deal of brisket, lean beef , meat balls, and beef tendon if you choose...I choose.
My daughter's go to is the smoked porkchop, rice, egg dishes. I must point out when I'm feeling the cold, a hiping hot spicy bunbohue hits the spot if you like pork soup. Bun reiu crab and pork mix with vermicelli noodles soup is definitely a favorite.
If not into the mood for soup the broken rice dishes are a nice go to as well. Excellent, atmosphere great for a quick lunch or enjoying with the family for a relaxing dinner....
Read moreLast night I mistakenly ordered form this restaurant thinking that I had ordered from phos #1 out south. I didn't realize my error until I made it to the resultant I intended on eating from. It was so late at night and I was exhausted and really wasn't able to make the trip all the way there further away from home. I called and explained the situation and they refused to give me a refund because the food was already made. So not only did I have to travel an additional 8 miles ( not to mention the fact that it seems this has happened to other Patons before because they knew the exact restaurant I was calling from and because the drive was 15 minutes from there to them it basically shouldn't be a big deal) once I finally got back home I was quite disappointed with the food. The meat sticks were extremely small and you only get two. It wasn't worth the $6.95. The shrimp fried rice had a very waxy texture and I'm not sure if it was from the corn or the shrimp itself. The chicken and veggies in house sauce was pretty good though but all in all this was $43 I wish I...
