Wendy's at 1450 W Morris St, Indianapolis, IN 46221 Part 1 of 2 My husband and I went to this location on 02/23/2022 (drive thru) at 9:35 p.m, and we ordered two large baconator meals, and we were told that they could only provide us one meal, and that the store was closed. When they told my husband that they had only one baconator meal, he asked the girl on the mic 'When do they close, she said now! and cut off her mic after I said,"You are supposed to be open till 10" and wouldn't respond to us anymore. This has happened to us on two occasions that the drive thru has been closed prior to 10pm. The website says that they are to close at 10pm, which we confirmed with a dayshift manager, and individuals in the drive thru line are to be served up to 10pm, and then the store closes, not serving or refusing to serve customers at 9:30 or 9:35 pm. The late night shift staff are extremely lazy, rude individuals who refuse to go out of their way to provide a service to their customers. In addition, there is no sign posted that the store closes at 9:30 p.m. or that they will not serve customers at that time. Part 2 of 2 We went through the drive thru last Friday it was 9:25 when we got there, there were two cars ahead of us one at the food window, one at the speaker box, and we were third. The woman at the speaker box kept saying hello, hello, hello, no answer from staff, the man at the food window did not get any food, and trying to get their attention, none, they left, and we left, in addition four other cars went around us and left as well.That is seven cars that the store lost out on, paying customers on a Friday night. We went to the drive thru Saturday morning after work to order breakfast, and spoke with the day manager and she said the store is to close at 10 pm and she would talk to her GM. We will no longer patronize this location. I contacted the store manager today, and she advised me that the drive thru line is not to be shut down until 10pm and customers are supposed to be served. The manager took my number and the general manager Angie is supposed to call me back. If anyone has had any problems with this store's late night staff, please contact Wendy's and speak with the general manager Angie. Update: Spoke with Angie, she said she would take care of the issue, still mad, not going to patronize this store for a long time. Read moreI'm usually happy with Wendy's but this night crew needs to learn to respect their customers and give the fresh food like we're promised no matter what time of day it is. Money is stretched pretty thin these days for most of us, and a lot of us in this area. I bring my kids here for a good dinner and the last two times I've had it, it's been pretty bad. Fries literally take 3 minutes 30 seconds, nuggets 4 minutes to cook, why am I getting cold fries and nuggets? Hamburgers cook even quicker, why are you guys selling chili meat at 9pm with a line around the building?!!!!!!? I work hard for my money and I find it a letdown everytime I spend any at this location. I just left this location tonight, spent close to $30 and not only was the hamburger cold and should have been out in with the chili meat, the nuggets were cold, an fries were cold. two of my 4 hamburger that I ordered, were dried out like the bag was left open in the bun warmer. I usually can tell how fresh the food is when the fry containers have some oil stains on them, and laughably, none of them have oil stains. I paid for medium cold coffee and got the small. Read moreId give 0 stars if I could. I went up there at 12:30, which was 30 minutes before closing just to be told they were doing doordash orders only. So I decided to order threw doordash right there on the spot because i drive for doordash and was able to get my own order. Then they proceed to tell me they aren't taking any more orders at all. This was at 12:35. They weren't supposed to close until 1. Of course doordash tells me they can refund me but it'll take 7 to 10 business days to recieve my refund. The employees were just lazy and wanted to leave work early . If You get paid to do something then it shouldn't be an issue to do your job. Every time I go up there, people are either rude, slow, or just down right lazy. An employee told me straight up that They dont like cleaning the frosty machine so they just tell you they're out of ice cream. Half the time there's only 1 or 2 people inside working because the rest of them are standing outside the backdoor smoking weed. It's gotta be the most unprofessional fast food restaurant on the west side of Indianapolis.
