Los Molcajetes Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Indianola

I stopped in on 11/24 and had heard good things about this restaurant from local friends on Facebook. I got there as soon as they opened, and one of the waitress’ husband was helping them clean and had their young daughter (like under 10) helping him. No child should be around any type of cleaning chemicals. Also, they have ONE nice waitress which luckily was mine. I overheard the other two waitresses discussing tips and how someone only tipped them $2 and how the customer could “shove that up their rear”. They were very loud and talking very trashy. That conversation should not have been in front of a paying customer. Food was decent, chips were a little stale and just bland. I wouldn’t go back to this place...

The look and condition of the restaurant was ok. The service was pretty good. The food was NOT. If you're a PICKY eater, this is NOT the place for you. I ordered catfish, shrimp, fries and salad. I had a long island. The fish filet was big but it wasn't fried in the right meal. My fish came out looking like a chicken breast. The spinach dip was watered down. Imma be honest. U NEED to bring ur own condiments. They don't have louisiana hot sauce or tartar sauce. What kind of restaurant don't have condiments?! The staff was nice and made us...

.....umm food was ok... I guess...didn't get drinks till around the 15-20 min mark after getting there, food took substantially longer ...the waitress didn't bother to write down our orders (guess she's good like that ???) and ended up getting two of them wrong and the other never even show up so one of my guys had to starve till we got off work, a absolutely beautiful waitress (not the photographic memory one) apologized profusely and gave everyone else a discount on their meal... would eat here again but only because of the beautiful...
