I had the beef lo mein. It was tasty. Although, it was obvious that it had been microwaved. The center of the portion was hot and the edges were not. I ordered spring rolls and expected the traditional Chinese dish only to be disappointed by getting these lettuce wraps. I’m not quite sure what they use to wrap it. I peeled it away and I enjoyed the shrimp that was inside. Also, I was a bit confused about the peanut butter that they served with these lettuce wraps. A very odd sauce for a shrimp dish. I was disappointed that it was not a traditional restaurant with table service. You go up to the counter and order of your food. You get a number to put on your table much like using the kiosk at McDonald’s. They bring it out to you. After bringing my food out, no one checked back with me. Luckily, I saw some chili oil and other condiments on a side table. I retrieved them myself. They have trays of premade food much like Panda Express. Therefore, I think the prices are way too high for the lack of freshness, atmosphere and service. Taproom 29 is far better. I will not return.

I've eaten at Asian restaurants all over America, both high and low priced. Since this one is on the high end of pricing, I figured the food must be good. Checking out others reviews convinced me to try it out. I ordered the broccoli beef. When the server brought the plate, I thought there must be some mistake; everyone in the reviews remarked how big the portion sizes were. What they brought me was kid sized. It had a foul fishy flavor and it was very sour. I realized something; everyone that gave it raving reviews and left a photo where you can see the dining area had something in common. The dining room is always empty. For a place with such high marks, you would think this place would be packed with a waiting list. WRONG. This place is empty for a reason. High priced sub-par food. Those reviewers must have never tasted good Asian before. I never rate a place unless it is terrible or exceptional. You can guess which this one falls under.

Ok the main reason Malie gets 3 stars 🌟 due to I eat ALOT ALOT ALOT ALOT of Pho, every state I go to the first place I look up is Pho places. Ok I got a oxtail and beef meatball pho sac biet with fish cake and eggs added. I also got spring rolls. The pho was ok I had WAY BETTER. The spring rolls were old and made in the morning so that was even or almost 8 hours ago. The bottom of the rolls were hard as if they were sitting that long. I asked for fresh made ones, and they still bring me hard ones. I did ask for my money back and I received my money with no problem. Would I come back here???????? Maybe no if I find better pho place. But only if I didn't have any other choice.

I enjoyed my Pho' with meaty oxtails so very much. Maybe I was feeling a bit under the weather but the Pho' broth warmed my insides. The taste was on point and the volume of soup was copious. Service was excellent because I was the only one in the restaurant. Surprised more customers weren't already there. Anyway, I also ordered some poke with shrimp, brown rice, avocado, asparagus and edamame. Normally I'd have taken pictures but I actually left my phone in the truck so all I can do is leave this nice, well deserved review. This restaurant was clean, quiet and the service was adequate. This was my first time here and I enjoyed every bite of my meal, so I definitely will be...
