Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Coachella

My last visit to the Popeyes closest to my home was not a good one. Out of a fresh batch of chicken was cooked, that I agreed to wait for, instead of chicken strips, they used nuggets and not a single strip. So I decided to go to one 12 miles away from home, located in a TravelCenters of America (TA) truck stop. This place was a lot busier because of its location at a popular truck stop so I hoped the food would be fresh and ready to serve. I was correct. After only a couple of minutes I received my order. I ordered 2 4-piece chicken dinners, one spicy and one mild. The first thing I noticed was the friendliness of the staff. Next, as I opened the bag with the dinners was that the order was completely correct! Not the same as the other one close to my house. The dinner was hot and fresh and had not been sitting in the warmer for hours. Again, I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative. While I ate in the dining room, I watched a continuous stream of customers, including workers from the neighboring fast food places - an obvious sign that the place was consistently good. I had a nice dinner and enjoyed my visit. Unfortunately, this place didn't serve "Popeyes famous iced tea" like the other place. Could be Covid related but I didn't ask. The place was clean and some of the tables had a "disinfected surfaces" sign. But, it was only a few with the sign. But I attribute that to the busy restaurant and not enough staff. It was fine since I ate my meal directly from the box. Obviously, being a truck stop, there was plenty of parking. Bottom line is this place is very good and I'll definitely drive farther to go to a much better...

Never again! I just paid $15 + dollars for 6 tiny chicken wings. They seriously seemed to be half the size of regular wings. I don't even understand how they were able to procure these tiny wings, but I'm guessing the answer is rooted in genetic modification. I got back to my truck only to find out there was no biscuit, I googled it and the Internet said it was supposed to come with a biscuit, so I went back in an attempt to feel full from this over priced meal. I was told no. It no longer comes with a biscuit. A small portion of fries and 6 half sized wings. It's getting so rough on this road to even stay alive out here. They are killing us with these prices! Not to mention the ingredients and a complete disregard for offering healthy options to us truckers out here making America go round. While the prices for running these loads are plummeting and while the amount of loads is slashed we are getting gouged out here in...

I ordered my food at 620pm it’s now 6:43pm and I have not received it. I understand they’re ll young but if they’re not being efficient and yelling out comments like … medium rare or saying my food will be 10 minutes more because I ordered spicy, males not only me but others upset. They talk about how certain orders F them up because it’s a Javier work load for them. No one wants to hear them yell out to not bother them because they have a system going on. Suggest if they want no complaints to have more work structure in this establishment. If you’re in a rush don’t stop here t all. These guys don’t want to work.
