I have eaten at this place for intermittently for the past 3 years. Customer service is 1000% consistent. As most restaurants, including my own, there will be a few hiccups due to staffing shortages or your food order didn't get delivered to the kitchen that day. So you do your best, pivot and improvise. But I love supporting small businesses that keep getting up and going through tge fire because they love what they are doing. I find this place and the owner has a lot of heart and love for his community. I have enjoyed my entrees. The crispy mushrooms are done very well. Yes, I can tell there are some changes in the flavors of some sauces and preparation. But their kindness and that beautiful smile always makes me feel welcome. I am a flexitarian. But when I dont feel like cooking for myself and i am in the mood for a salad, this is my go to place for the LA Salad. The jackfruit tamales are also a great hit. I feel the prices for the amount and quality food is perfectly priced. The drinks offerings are too sweet for my taste bud. Most of them add too much agave to sweetened the drinks. This was my first time visiting & although the person who was taking my order was new, he was as helpful as he could be and tried his best to make sure eye knew what everything on the menu was. I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment right as they opened their doors at 11 a.m., and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
