Averie's Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Inman

Today was my first time visiting this establishment. They have FRESH cooked meals to take home and enjoy (heat and eat). I was VERY IMPRESSED with the GOURMET SELECTION of dinners that are THOUGHTFULLY prepared with EXTREMELY FAIR PRICING and GENEROUS PORTIONS! Also being served is a PLENTIFUL spread of ice cream selections as well as milkshakes and a snow cone spot on the premises that can be accessed by walking up OR DRIVING UP! THIS PLACE IS PERFECT FOR WHATEVER MOOD YOU'RE IN! Now, the most important part - CUSTOMER SERVICE..... I was treated LIKE FAMILY! The selections of flavors being so various, it took me a few seconds to decide, and the employee that was helping me, Alyvia, NEVER MADE ME FEEL RUSHED or that it was a problem because I couldnt decide. She offered me samples of everything I had questions about. Assisting her, and finalizing the financial transaction, was Brooke. Honestly, these ladies were MORE than accommodating!!! VERY FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND WELL EDUCATED on the products they offer! The customer service matched the quality of the products, PERFECTION! AVERY'S HAS JUST MADE A LIFELONG CUSTOMER and I WILL be putting the word out and promoting this place EVERY chance I get!!!! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING & I'LL SEE YOUS...

I took my son here after his baseball practice to get him some ice cream. I arrived around 8:10 in the evening and the lights were out and two ladies were walking to their cars. They told me they were closed and to come back tomorrow. I said I looked up the hours and they said 9, and they responded by saying that they have to fill out a Google form to change the hours on Google. Well, come to find out their official website also says they are open until 9!

I honestly wasn’t going to bother writing a review, and they did offer coupons for two free scoops, but I can’t ignore the fact that as I left the parking lot all I could hear was my 7 year old son crying in the backseat asking “why did they have to close early?”

If you’re going to change your hours, update your website. If your website is accurate, make sure your employees stay until the posted times. It’s a shame, because the ice cream here looks quite good, but leaving my son in tears because you either can’t keep an up to date schedule for the public or your employees decided to clock out early is unacceptable.

If you guys want the best customer service on top of really good ice cream do you need to check this place out! I walked in and felt like they were family because of how friendly the staff was and how amazing my service was. Lee was amazing and patient while I tried several flavors, he even helped me pick out my new favorite "brown batter truffle". Aisha had such an amazing attitude and was ready to help! I honestly can not wait till my next visit where I hope these two will be there!
