If you have never eaten true Italian food, you might think this resturant is great, but if you have had great Italian food, you would not eat here as your first choice. . I always test an Italian restaurant with how they make the simple dish spaghetti and meatballs. Simple but complex to cook. Spaghetti should be cooked al dente, the sauce should stand on its own with a sweet, with a hit of spice, meatballs not mushy but firm with burt's of flavor. Mine was non of this. In fact spaghetti was over cooked to mush, meatballs mushy and lacked spice and flavor, sauce was dilluted because the spaghetti was not drained and caused a puddle of water and watered down sauce removing any flavor the sauce had. My wife usually test with lasagna. Her's was baked, with enormous amounts of cheese, sauce and meet with typical pasta. Meat again had no flavor, sauce very bland and so much cheese that's all you could taste. Lastly we always order garlic bread. What we got here was cold bread. No garlic, no herbs, no anything. To fix my dish I loaded with red pepper flakes. That helped. On the bright side the owner stopped by for a chat. Very lovely woman, true southern spirit, heart of service, just sweet in every way. Made the night worth it. My wife and I really enjoyed her. The other partner is Greek and she cooks. Staff was friendly, restaurant dies need to work on insuring our summer fly season does not enter the restaurant yeah it's just, as I ate flys were all around. Just not what I want to see when eating

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for what was served. My guest and I were there on a Sunday afternoon at about 1:30. The parking lot was over flowing when we arrived so we parked in a neighboring lot. Our table service was excellent. My only complaint about this restaurant is that I ordered a Chicken Souvlaki dinner and asked specifically about how many skewers it was and when my order came out my chicken wasn't grilled at all. There were no skewers. The meat equivalent was on my plate, but the food had been prepared differently. When I asked the server about it, I was told that she noticed it didn't have skewers and she asked the cook why it didn't. The cook said that the meat cooks better the way it was prepared. Ugh! Had I wanted my food prepared a different way then I would have requested it, or more likely ordered something entirely different. This restaurant was obviously a local favorite and I would definitely recommend it for your dining pleasure.

We stopped for dinner at Dimitri’s based on a recommendation from an employee at a local winery, and I’m so glad we did. The experience was warm and inviting from the start. The Halloween decorations added a cozy seasonal touch, and the overall vibe was casual and welcoming—no frills, just good food and friendly service. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and the menu offered an impressive variety of options. We ordered the fried zucchini with tzatziki, the Stromboli, the eggplant parmesan casserole, and the gyro. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices felt just right for the quality and quantity of food. If you're looking for a clean, relaxed spot with hearty food and great service, Dimitri’s is a solid choice. I would 100% return on our next visit to the area.

What happened......Came in last night my hubby's auto body shop is right behind this place. Got in at 830 everyone was super nice.. My son was hungry after practice fast service 4 tables in the place. We ordered mozzarella sticks got them 30 min after ordering food. 2 tables that came in about 9 got thier entrees. My food came burnt chicken strip in casserole bread wasn't cooked.. soupy noodles for $13. My husband grill chicken. Wrap (fried chicken is what he got was burnt... wrap not grilled cheese not even melted. And my sons super sub came 20 min i.timed it after my food. Our poor waitress even ask the blonde up front about why I got my meal and them not thier but she just kept making boxes offered no aid to her in helping fix issue. Manager was sat down talking with blonde. The waitress overly apologized the food, was beyond bad. Not worth the $40. MANAGEMENT no excuse a young waitress was asking for help and instead of coming to table explaining going to kitchen offering apology. She just ignored to girl and kept talking loudly to the other lady... Our shop is behind the place don't think will be sending clients here anymore. We are easy going buisness owners if the lady would have helped the girl or talk to us or someone offer some explanation...this post...

Decided to stop in here to grab dinner instead of driving into Greenville after a wedding rehearsal. The restaurant was uncomfortably quite with no music or background noise. The hostess/server that sat everyone placed all the people entering the restaurant in back to back booths, despite the restaurant being relatively empty. Our server was very pleasant. The Greek salad dressing was a bit strange, tasted a tad like mustard. The Chicken Palermo was deli ham with large stalks of broccoli and watery Alfredo sauce. The baked ravioli seemed like grocery store frozen ravioli with jar sauce. Our chicken souvlaki came out with a hair in it. We discreetly notified our server who took it back to the kitchen. When she brought out the fresh plate, it was very bland. The Greek potatoes were not the typical Greek potatoes. We got complementary "Greek doughnuts" which were very greasy and mushy in the middle. The server had to request a discount from the manager over our dish with hair in it, to which we got 20% off on that dish only. Overall the experience was terrible and the food was below standard. We were highly...
