Paisano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ione

First visit got the lunch buffet. Good value. Pizza was good. Second time I ordered the meatball parmesan sub. Took 15 minutes and some of the meatballs were still cold. The ends of the sub were barely hot. Third visit went back to the buffet, waited about 10 minutes for them to bring out more pizza. Fourth visit (today, April 9th, 12:05PM-12:40PM) was absolutely terrible experience. The person taking my order asked me to wait while he did some unimportant task. Gave me only one plate (usually you get two, one for pizza, one for salad). I jumped straight to the pizza and here's where it really gets bad: The temperature knob had obviously been mal-adjusted and the pizza slices were all lukewarm. The cheesy bread was cool. On-top of that, the food had clearly been sitting there for awhile. There were only several slices of pizza and bread left which was eaten by myself and other patrons fairly quickly. Took until 12:40 (nearly 35 minutes after I ordered) for them to bring out another pizza (to the kitchen's credit, this pizza was delicious). I asked an employee for a coupon since my lunch was almost over. I was told "We don't do that". I had several more minutes (12:40PM) for the pizza to be done. By then I had to ask an employee for a to-go box for a few slices of pizza as I was already late for going back to work. Not going back.

Kitchen needs better preparation...

I’ve been going to paisanos for the last 5 years and I have typically never had any negative experience. But the gentleman who helped me earlier was just not nice at all. Usually the staff is pretty consistent in their service but I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what. We live about 10 minutes outside of town and we were excited to see that they have a new delivery option through bring me that so we tried it and we received a call saying that we could not get it delivered to us which was fine we were just trying it out but when I got to the store to pick it up the gentleman scouled at me and rudely told me that it was a scam and I should not have placed the order But you guys somehow received it. But overall it was just not very pleasant and I hope the customer service...

June 2022 - REDEEMED! Just ordered a Medium Paizone, and this has been prepared start to finish, to perfection! Exactly what I ordered. This is exactly why Paisano's is the Best! Thank you, for taking your Customer feedback to heart, and making the changes necessary to turn it around. Truly, this is good enough for a Foodie to desire. 😘 Sept 2021-update Very disappointing. Their calzones used to be consistently soft and perfect. Lately, they're dry, hard and almost burnt. Mine was served covered in cornmeal, suggesting it was to be as a pizza.
